  1. The only I can't tolerate is hotdogs.
  2. That sounds pretty reasonable, here in Chicago I don't think you can get anything less that $18k.
  3. Cream of broccoli I think would be to fiberous at this point. You can do the egg drop soup at an Asian restaurant. You can also try an authentic Mexican restaurant and ask for chicken soup, just ask them for mostly broth. Good luck.
  4. Hmmm... Those calories seem kind of high. I was told by my nut not to get anything over 200 calories. I'm sure it's fine pre-op, but post op those calories can really add up.
  5. I had to to the shots, yeah they suck, but it was only for 10 days, and I would do it All over again even if I had to do the shots for a month. The whole bag for the drain, I'm assuming that is if by chance you need a drain. It is to my understanding not all people need the drain. If you by chance need one, it is only a few days, trust me in the long run you will do it again if you had to.
  6. I can't say that I miss a particular food, I do however get the urge to just take a big bite of something. The eating slow and small bites is so unnatural to me.
  7. First, congrats on your weight loss and your wife's pregnancy. Being married myself I can tell you that the first three years are the hardest. I'm sure yours is even harder because of the fact that your living with your in laws. Do not walk out on your marriage, just like loosing weight is not easy neither is marriage. As a woman I can tell you that your wife is craving attention, so give it to her. I'm sure with all your weight loss the attention has been focused on you. She's pregnant and she will most likely be irritable and grouchy, but that is the nature of being pregnant. Be glad and greatful that is is putting her body through all the stress and changes to give you the best gift you will ever know. Marriage is a struggle At times, don't walk out at the first sign of trouble, you owe it to your child to give this relationship 110%. Best of luck to you and your wife.
  8. Yes I can, I'm 3 months out. You can also try low carb sushi, it's made without the rice.

  19. My son was 13 when I had the procedure and I told him that I was having stomach surgery. I explained to him that I would be in the hospital dir a night or two, but not to worry and as soon as I got out of surgery I had my husband send him a text that I was ok, and everything was ok. Once I was in my right mind I called him.
  20. Yeah....Patrick. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
  21. Men are different, especially one so fit and who is a health freak, he really doesn't understand where your coming from. I would suggest engaging in moderate exercise together, biking, walking swimming. My husband was never into exercise, but we have started bike riding. We have made our little bikin trips into all day events. My suggestion is to incorporate your husband into as much as of your new life style as possible. Most men need to feel needed/wanted.
