Exactly the same feelings I still wish I would have tried harder on my own But I am going to make the best of it on 24th I will be 2mnths post op eat whatever I want just smaller portions walking 1-2miles every morning. Feeling better day by day. Its hard but I am determined all this will not be for nothing. I really understand where u are coming from just read my blogs..........it gets better week by week not day by day.

  7. hello, well honestly the first week i regretted ever getting surgey, i was not in alot of pain but very uncomfortable and frustrated. i am 16days postop and feeling better daily. as for migraines i have chronic ones meds daily and i can still take them all. still have some thoughts of why surgery but on the positive i have lost 40# the more i walk the better i feel. and i am beginnibg to see the up side of all this. so be prepared it is an emotional rollercoaster but it really gets better daily.
  8. feeling a little better today. tired all the time. scared to move the wrong way. still sleeping in chair or on my back bc soreness. not eating much, not really hungry at all. today i am going for protein increase. this journey is difficult, still have sone regrets but when i got weighed yesterday and went from 283 to 262 i felt some peace. 10# were preop n 11# in 6 days postop. u admit its been 5years since I've seen 262. thanking God for each victory. big r small.today will be better than yesterday, tomorrow will be better than today. all new sleevers we will make it.,we have no choice failure is not an option. hang in there its not easy but will b worth it one day.
  9. i know how u feel. sleeved 24th i pray n cry. but i believe it will get better.,hang in there we will be healthy and fine soon this will all be like a bad dream.

  21. dithdith26 remember this is big, not just for u but him as well. my husband has heard alot of stories about wives leaving after they loose the weight. and he asked me would i. of course i laughed at him and assured him IM not going anywhere. he says a lot of men feel that way. so ur husband can be afraid of u changing. r leaving. he could feel neglected since u r wrapped up in pending surgery. make sure u r paying attention to him. assure him he will not loose u. b4 , during, or after surgey. they don't express like us but they still feel like us. b blessed
