remember this is big, not just for u but him as well. my husband has heard alot of stories about wives leaving after they loose the weight. and he asked me would i. of course i laughed at him and assured him IM not going anywhere. he says a lot of men feel that way. so ur husband can be afraid of u changing. r leaving. he could feel neglected since u r wrapped up in pending surgery. make sure u r paying attention to him. assure him he will not loose u. b4 , during, or after surgey. they don't express like us but they still feel like us. b blessed

our prayers go up for u. u will do great. my date is 24th be blessrd and let God do the rest. we pray for dr. and teams hands be led by God. in Jesus name.

well stayed busy. cooked for family tried to pinch a piece of chicken and thank God i couldn't eat. i am determined to change. no means no. and my little cheerleaders are cheering me on every step of the way. go momma u can do it go momma go. lol..

Congratulations on decision and taking the first steps. it is a journey with lots of mixed emotions. fear, doubt, anticipation, questions like what am i doing, why cant i just do this on my own, ect.. just know u r doing this for u. Stay focused n positive. i ride this rollercoaster daily. but i am determined to conquer this weight n health issues.

this is so real, so close. i am 5'3" 283.9 lbs. bmi 51. i dont know how i got to this point. but im here. 2008 i had a stroke due to migraines. been on steroids and other meds everyday since then. not a big eater but addicted to Pepsi. I keep telling myself it is time for change. i have 3kids n very supportive husband n family. now the reason for this post. surgery july 24 and i have a hundred fears. i hear its normal. how do we cope with it all. well this is my journey here n dallas tx i will post daily. i pray that i can help the new sleevers one day at a time. b blessed
