  1. he will wonder if you get to the point that he touches you. the port feels odd. you have lost so much weight, I'd share!
  2. yes, I did experience pain. it helped when I walked. I walked as much as I could, in the house, out of the house, walk, walk, walk! I was careful when I got out of bed and turned over in bed. the nurse worked with me and my roommie so we didn't rip anything. I still get out of bed the same way, roll over to the side and lift up with my arm.
  3. I do not have trouble after them. they are not fun but, you are drugged and don't feel anything. I had one in the hospital and ate a light meal afterwards. they give the doc such a good picture of what problems we have, I would do them anytime! I have had ulcers and a hernia and with that test they decided I needed a repair along with the gastric band placement. no big deal.
  4. i try to weigh each Tues at the club where I work out. I am working hard at not making the numbers the only goal. I have changed the way I eat so much since August, I really feel good about that. I am happy with the weight loss and inches too. I do not want to get compulsive, this has been a pattern of mine.
  5. no but it jump starts metabolism "Dr Oz". I use cayenne in many things now.
  6. Shirley i was unable to get to the FB page? it said it was temporarily unavailable, or I may need permission to view this page?

  8. I use a digital scale.(my best buddy) some of the items I use show calories etc. in grams or ounces. this works very well for me. I measure everything, everything!
  9. good for you I love to hear success stories, gives me hope that this is the last time Ifight this "weight thing". Love the grandpa story! What a nice complement. Thanks for not acting on it. I am "older" and I plan to get my first tattoo as a special reward too. I have been wanting to do this for years! I agree with others size 6 is purrrfect!
  10. great choice, we missed you!
  11. yes, I felt the same. seems ok now, I have lost 41.5 inches since August including 6.5 inches from my abdomen and 7.5" from my waist. If they didn't measure me every month I wouldn't believe it!
  12. I try to stay at 1000/1200 high protein, low carb
  13. so, you started this post with lots of honesty. yes, we all agree this is the hardest thing we have ever done. keep posting and try to get back to the basics. start logging all your food, exercise at least 3 days a week. cut out all sugar. when I are doing well with my weight loss it means I plan better. I shop for fresh foods, avoid processed foods, no fast food meals, exercise everyday and think in a positive manner. try to remember that you are worth all of this effort. No more excuses.
  14. if they do an endoscopy they will be able to determine if it's an ulcer. get to the doc!
  15. loved your blog lap band girl! it is so cool to see all the before and after pics of people. I am sure a lot of people wouldn't believe you were the old fat girl!!
  16. thanks I had forgotten about the protein before a workout. so much to remember.
  17. I guess that is the 1st question, what's your trigger food. attack it first. remember that Protein has to be the first thing you eat, ALWAYS. log everything (even the crap). you are the only one who will see it so you can be very honest! logging might help you see where the problem is. You do want to get back on track, right. keep posting, if you are honest and open to suggestions it will happen! TRUST
  18. Wow, I looked at the Cheesecake Factory menu, I am impressed! I always loved that place! I usually have a fish item and substitute any potato with a veggie. I love salmon so that is the usual choice. yesterday I went out and forgot to have the sub and had wild rice pilaf with the veggie. I obviously used all my carbs once I ate that! It was delicious but I do not want to do that, way to stressful! I took a look at the baguette they put on the table and decided it was not worth it. At least I made that choice correctly!!!
  19. go to a Vitamin store, they have so many brands and you can buy individual packs to try. I love Jay Robb, lots of Protein, 1 carb and no artificial sweeteners! they really taste pretty good!! you will be surprised.
