yesterday had surgery...questions
Low grade temp is not unusual. Percocet can make you nauseous if you are moving around a lot. Unfortunately it is the walking that helps the bloated feeling. If you do not have a scrip for nausea you might want to call the doc tomorrow and get one. I don't regret my decision, but there will be a few rough days. Prayers and best wishes for you!

Loathing water after fill
Try flavored water... it is important to stay hydrated!

Banded 1 week ago--questions, please help
While healing, it is normal to fill completely full. Be careful with salad, as most early banders are warned off it. Congratulations on your surgery and best wishes.

I don't belong here
OK.... this is me falling on my sword. Had a pissy day and fight with my hubs. Took it out here. My bad. I agree information is for everyone and I should not be so snotty. Thanks to those of you who took the time to point it out to me in PMs. I do appreciate it. I can also be blunt, honest, helpful, funny, and wrong. Mostly I try to help. I have NO patience for whiners, so be forwarned. I do not mince words in my opinion. nor will I post disclaimers. When I am wrong I admit it. As I am now. I am also sending a PM to the post originator with my apologies. No excuses.

First fill = not happy
You should be full liquids for a couple of days. If you continue to have the burning and reflux with liquids, go back for an unfill. Sometimes 0.5 cc can make a world of difference. At least in my experience. You should do what you think is best for you.

excedrine
My doc said no nsaids ever. I do have a prescription for a migraine med... Relpax. Call and ask your doc.

Your problem, not mine. I can take or leave whatever one says. You might try your profile though!

I HATE walking!
I don't like it particularly either, but it beats being a couch potato. Now if I had a beach to walk on like Mads, I might change my mind!

Walk
Walk outside, far more interesting! I understand that some people like to walk, Iike to sit, but then that's what got me here. So I guess I will keep walking!

How many calories per day on your pre op diet?
Do what you were told by your doctor. If you were not told, call and ask, cause we don't know what he/she wants you to do!

WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL MY STUPID BAND...
Now you know who is in charge!

Energy Drinks
Same here... no energy drinks... you do know that energy drinks are not protein don't you? My doctor also said no caffeine. It is a serious cause of dehydration.

My Story
Sad story... and scary. I hope you are fully recovered now.

Typical Early Morning Start
I get up by at least ten every day... I am retired, not a crazy morning person! But I do get in my 4 miles daily!

burning too many calories?
Glad you talked with the doc. I always have a protein shake or bar before work out! Good habit to make and keep! Your weight loss is awesome! Way to go!

Wendy Williams show
We could have told them that! How come Wendy did not call for us? Princess would be a star!

first fill
Be sure to follow the docs orders for eating after fills. Liquids generally for 24-48 hours, then soft foods and then back to solids. Actual time in each phase seems to vary by doctor. Good luck, it is a piece of cake easy. No worries.

3rd fill and issues
It does not sound like a stuck problem, but maybe your tummy is still irritated after the fill. I would call the doc to ask and be sure.

Losing weight before surgery
This varies by doctor and patient, but generally the pre surgery diet is to reduce fat around the liver, so the surgeon can see to operate easier. I lost about 21 pounds before surgery, and was not required to do a pre-op diet. A pound lost is a pound gone. That would be enough incentive for me. I wanted to be thin!

Got banded today!!!!Aft
Yay... you finally did it! Congrats and welcome to banded life!

Having Ticker Problems...
I know of no way to keep a history unless you use MFP or something else to track. The ticker does not, which is why some people type their history below in the signature section instead of using tickers.

Surgery covered but got a bill for 4000
