  2. I am having a band to sleeve revision on October 20th. I am super excited and any advice would be welcome. I had an easy recovery after the lap band surgery but my band slipped after a year and I am now getting the sleeve. Thanks in advance.
  3. I actually have had a barium swallow and a ct scan and they could find nothing wrong at the time After I posted this I went to a new doctor who looked at the ct scan and diagnosed a slipped band. I will be having surgery to repair it or convert to a sleeve soon. Thanks for the info. You are completely right.
  4. Has anyone had any success in alleviating acid reflux after banding. I had it prior and it went away for almost a year and then came back even worse. I am miserable. I have had band adjusted numerous times and it always comes back.
  5. I have done my research online, but was hoping someone on here might have personal experience and could recommend someone.
  6. I am looking for info about surgeons who do the gastric sleeve in or near Bristol, Va. I currently have a Lap Band. Thank you.

  8. Thank you. I used to be able to maneuver the site well when it was Lapbandtalk.
  9. So this will be your 3rd surgery? What caused the slip?
  10. Has anyone started with a lap band and then converted to a sleeve? I have had the worst time with severe acid reflux with my band and have had to remove almost all the fluid. I am hungry all the time consequently. I have had all the X-rays and examinations and am told my band looks fine. I also had a hiatal hernia repaired so that isn't the problem.

  12. I am glad you have recovered. I am hoping I will too. That we all will.
  13. I stopped crossing my legs and mine is about 50 percent better. I put off nerve conduction test and any further tests until I give it some time.
