Acid reflux after band

Has anyone had any success in alleviating acid reflux after banding. I had it prior and it went away for almost a year and then came back even worse. I am miserable. I have had band adjusted numerous times and it always comes back.

have you had a barium swallow after complaining to the doctor of the acid reflux? don't ignore it and insist on getting your band checked for slippage. be assertive when talking with your doctor. the fact that the acid reflux started 1 year after banding and was okay for a year something might be wrong. please get it checked out

I actually have had a barium swallow and a ct scan and they could find nothing wrong at the time After I posted this I went to a new doctor who looked at the ct scan and diagnosed a slipped band. I will be having surgery to repair it or convert to a sleeve soon. Thanks for the info. You are completely right.
