  1. Best wishes and let us know how you make out! Come back often.
  2. Keep us posted on your progress. Good luck and best wishes.
  3. As you can see, there are many variations. What our doctors said is irrelevant to our question. Do what the doctor you chose recommends, and don't compare until you find and answer you like.
  4. That post continues to say that this was based upon limited information and experience, in hospitals in Mexico, not the US.
  5. Tiny bites and chew, chew, chew! LOL
  6. A lot happened through that single incision. I had multiples, but the larger incision for the band it self was sore for a good 3-4 months.
  7. Hang in there Ms Rhonda. Try to avoid processed foods, and work to get your number of meals down to four from five. You can do it, don't let the scales rule your life!
  8. Results vary. You may be losing inches without visible clothing changes. Remember, some of our clothes stretched with us!
  9. Best wishes... you should be thrilled with the results.
  10. Always go back to liquids and give the band area time to heal. It is just common sense that it would be irritated after an experience like that.

  12. Please Read this!! http://www.lapbandtalk.com/topic/163836-6-myths-about-the-adjustable-gastric-band/
  13. Please r4ead the following post: http://www.lapbandtalk.com/topic/163836-6-myths-about-the-adjustable-gastric-band/
  14. Finally, some sane reasoned information about the band!
  15. Count the calories and move on! But they do add up fast, so moderation is the key.
  16. Plan on being cold for a while. I am always wearing layers. I can wear long pants and sleeves in the NC summer! Part of the program!
  17. MsMaui... I don't mind being rude. Your statement about plication is outright wrong an ill-informed. Please don't use scary words like necrosis to frighten people. If you don't approve of the band, try saying nothing. Making up **** is not useful.
  18. No, but sipping is healthier than chugging.
  19. Love it! My fitbit has helped motivate me to get up and move!
  20. Thanks Missy... just what I was going to say!
  21. More fiber should help. Ask the doctor if this continues.
  22. So right you are! Eat slow and enjoy the flavors!
  23. Congratulations... you are doing great!
