  1. Sounds like you are on track on your journey. Congratulations and best wishes.
  2. We are with you. Come back anytime!
  3. Tilted is OK so long as he can still get the needle in to give you fills. Flipped means new surgery.
  4. Look for the powders, much less expensive per serving. Think of the cost as being a full meal replacement.
  5. Long time banders, more than 100 posts to LBT.
  6. Top down I fear!
  7. Welcome, come here often and read and learn.

I live in NC and we have the dressings as well!
  9. What is your interest if I may ask? Are you considering surgery?
  10. I can eat any meat with my band. You do have to chew... but not liquify!
  11. Not wise to be on solid food so fast. You need to let the surgery area heal.
  12. The photos were amazing! I hope your insurance helps you re-open!
  13. Total through week 3: 63.36 Week four, finished slow! 20.51 Total through 26th! 83.87 16.13 to go in 5 days.... Gotta hit the mall tomorrow!
  14. Sounds like a tad bit too much. Hiccups is a sign things are not going down well. I would go back for a slight unfill. It often takes very little out to make a huge difference.
  15. So sorry, I had a major house fire years ago, and lost everything, but it was pre-band. Be good to yourself. It is a major shock to the system! Best wishes.
  16. I gave LBT a boost today at a bariatic seminar run by Duke for PCPs. Guess what they served on the buffet lunch. salad, swimming in dressing, green Beans, chicken in cream sauce...well done. Salmon in white rice, mashed potatoes and two Desserts. I called them on it in my remarks! LOL Told them all to use LBT not OH!
  17. I never got any relief from MOM, ducolax or benefiber. I am now on DAILY half dose Miralax. It also helps if you walk at least 2 miles a day.
  18. Warm and fuzzy it is!
  19. Plication is when the surgeon folds the rounded portion of the stomach in on itself and then stitches it together. The result is a banana shaped stomach. It involves no cutting away of stomach tissue, and test results have shown that when done in addition to the band that weight loss results approach the levels of the Gastric bypass, without cutting. I have been very happy with mine. It is all done at the the same time.
  20. Just remember, small bites and chew, chew, chew.
  21. Good advice Dawn... You must take small bites and chew thoroughly. Think pinkie nail size. We got used to stuffing in and swallowing to get to this point, but that eating style is no longer possible. Good luck, just small bites and chew, chew, chew. Liquids for the rest of your life would be no fun at all!.
