  1. If it is the flavor... Shake them up, and let them go flat before drinking.
  2. That is very high in carbs, so you are unlikely to enter ketosis. Look for shakes that have far less carbs, and more Protein.
  3. Very good point Mads... we will be happy to support you as you go!
  4. Definitely need longer for heavy lifting to prevent stuff from straining in side.
  5. Great idea... thanks Alex.
  6. Learn and don't repeat the same mistake twice. Welcome to Banded life!
  7. Good luck all... do what works for you!
  8. This topic is still under poop and not likely to get a lot of traffic. If you want to discuss recipes, I would recommend a new post.
  9. Sound advice above. Good luck.
  10. Take it in good faith that they were nice. If they don't know about the band, they cannot be sensitive to it. They buy those treats so that they can have them anyway! LOL. I acknowledge your frustrations, but do not take it in a personal sabotage way!
  11. Sorry Dylan, this is why I never give out my email to people I don't know.
  12. Least risk, simplest surgery. Period.
  13. You are doing the thing! Keep up the good work!
  14. The non fat free has less carbs. I don't use FF because they add other stuff to it. On Atkins diet, you always use full milk and full half and half or cream for reduced carbs.
  15. Port is the last to heal... Mine was almost 8 weeks, I hope your will be sooner. But it does go away! I promise!
  16. Awesome! Have a great wedding!
  17. The appetite will return, and then you will be forced to use your will/want power to sustain you until you get a fill. Pretty normal now for post surgery. It should start to return before long. Just stick with the plan you were given on eating portions.
  18. Sounds iffy to me. I am not sure the band will allow you to eat enough to compensate for the extra calories burned, but I have NO experience, just an opinion.
  19. Distraction is so easy.... hope you are all recovered now!
