  1. Yes, through Pioneer Valley Surgical they have support groups and their in springfield at baystate in the medical office suites.
  2. Live in agawam and banded on june 8th, 2012.
  3. I'm happy to see this post because I thought I was going crazy!!! I was banded on June 8, 2012 and have recently noticed the same thing. I can feel the food going down slowly (almost like getting stuck), and boy is it painful. I have learned to eat smaller forkfuls and slower. I'm not due for a fill until July 28th, or something like that.
  4. I am having pain today by my port as well. It's actually to the upper right of the port site, and it hurts when walking or laying on my sides. I was banded June 8th and have been pretty much pain free for the last week until today. Has anyone had this experience? The port area also seems to be a little raised and red in the area I have pain in. I called the doctor, and they said its normal, but it just seems weird after having been without pain.
