  1. We are are different. Follow the doctors plans and they will work this out. Sorry for your troubles.
  2. I see two choices, delay the surgery or cancel the trip. The drinking is empty calories and will not help. Three weeks is not enough time to allow the body to heal before you start partying. You should still be in the post-op phase. Sounds like an unworkable plan to me.
  3. I agree with the above. It is your choice. There is no guarantee that exercise will firm up the skin. Everyone is different. Start saving for plastic surgery if you really can't exercise at all.
  4. Bizarre! Sorry for you troubles, but the story is just bizarre!
  5. Keep walking. Normal after surgery to feel this way.
  6. Sorry to hear of your problems. The doctors will surely recommend the best solution for you. Good Luck!
  7. Dee... you are a walking fool! Dang you have really made it happen!
  8. You can do it if you WANT it enough. Find a good surgeon. You did not mention high blood pressure, diabetes or other problems. If you have any of these you may not need a pre-diet. Best wishes to you and congratulations on taking the first step.
  9. Happy Birthday Cheryl! I hope it continues to be a special day. Those AARP folks are persistent. Makes for good recycle material! I will NEVER be old enough for AARP! We are only as old as we feel and the band gives us a new beginning! Thanks for being a good friend and supporter!
  10. I have to take half dose of Miralax every day to even approach regular. Benefiber and Collace do nothing for me.
  11. This week was good: 23.23 New total is: 63.36 Thanks for the incentive. I needed to be less of a slug.
  12. Fabulous! You go girl! Congratulations! There is no feeling like it! Enough motivation to keep you moving down!
  13. We can make our own music walking down the hall! The pains go away, but the gas continues I am afraid. I think it is a result of the high amounts of protien we eat!
  14. We need reputable information. Please provide reference sources or leave those of us happy with our decision alone. Thank you.
  15. I have never had trouble with scrambled eggs unless I take too big of a bite. Keep trying, things change.
  16. 48 hours liquids after fill done? If so, you can try anything... start soft.
  17. Great NSV! The sizing going down is an amazing feeling. I know just how you feel! Congrats!
  18. Congratulations, sorry you did not have better nursing care.
  19. Good luck, do you have to unfill the band during the pregnancy?
  20. All prepared foods have extra sodium as preservative. You would be much better off to cook your own meals. Another good source of protein is many groceries cell pre-roasted chickens, Simply de-bone them and store in serving size amounts.
  21. Congrats to you all. Just stick to the pre-op diet, for your own good. It make the docs job a lot easier!
  22. Terry... be aware that fat cells store a lot of different hormones. It is entirely possible that as you lose weight your levels could change. I think it is a good plan to have them checked periodically.
  23. I am just hoping I can get to 4 years and maintain. Do what you need to do for yourself, but you have to really WANT it this time.
  24. We make our own music! LOL!
