2 weeks.......

Hi all,

Tomorrow I go for my nutrition and pshyc consult. I've been eating like crazy these past two weeks.

I'm ready for my new life to begin. Tonight I'm taking the dreaded pre surgery pic, this will keep me motivated for sure.

Feb 4th won't come soon enough. I found out 3 weeks after surgery, I have a business trip scheduled. I'm nervous about that, the food, the social nights with drinking (I love to drink).

Well, fellow Feb bandsters, our time is quickly approaching!

I see two choices, delay the surgery or cancel the trip. The drinking is empty calories and will not help. Three weeks is not enough time to allow the body to heal before you start partying. You should still be in the post-op phase. Sounds like an unworkable plan to me.

Unfortunately, this is my career so I will go and not drink, I'll be social and pay the "I'm not feeling well" card.

Good luck to you! Not much longer now!

Good plan!! And I'm getting rebanded on Feb 4th too - I've been down this road before :) just as exciting! Please msg me if you would like a band buddy, I'm looking for someone to connect with. It really helped me stay focused to have someone to yap with :)

I still have 3 and a half weeks to go but I'm getting really nervous. I keep having dreams. I just cannot see me as a thinner person and I worry that I will be the one person to fail at this. I guess I just need some support.
