excedrine

Is excedrine ok to take post banding? Im 4 weeks post op and ive had a migraine for 24 hrs. Tylenol had not worked. Help!

its an NSAID so i dont think so

can you call the dr or nurse (or even pharmacy to check and be sure)

Talk to your doctor.

My doctor has no problem with me taking any kind of NSAIDS and I do almost daily. Tylenol is as useless as taking Skittles for pain for me. He told me since I've never had problems with ulcers before the band, there is no reason for me to be concerned about NSAIDS causing them after being banded. I only couldn't take them for 2 weeks prior and after surgery because they're blood thinners.

My doc said no nsaids ever. I do have a prescription for a migraine med... Relpax. Call and ask your doc.

I have my first fill tomorrow so I Will check. I know they said not to before surgery wasnt sure about now.

Im perscribed topamax BUT the side effects are a little weird. Dr said ok to take it but I haven't taken them since banding

I would not risk it.
