  1. We are all different. I have never had a single hiccup before a stuck episode. Stuck means eating improperly for me. A single hiccup... just a early sign, that and a runny nose!
  2. On clear liquids probably it is OK. When can you add full liquids and protein?
  3. I'll bet your daughter will lose weight too, just eating like Mom! Congratulations!
  4. Runny nose or single hiccup.
  5. Welcome to your personal concert. This is very common!
  6. I agree with CG, you are still healing. Listen to your body and by all means if you need the doctor call him early. No need to suffer. I sleep on my tummy all the time. BTW/
  7. Stress can make the band tighter.
  8. Sorry babe... gave mine to Goodwill or had them altered.
  9. Good luck on your journey!
  10. Side cramps could be constipation, I know TMI. I know when I am full when I hiccup. I am also full when my serving size is gone. Sometimes the signal is slower than I eat.
  11. You can see through clear liquids! That is to say, milk is a full liquid!
  12. Being satisfied with the band should not be uncomfortable. If it is, you have likely over eaten. Get used the concert of noises your body makes. Try new foods... you may find that things you did not like before are appealing to you now. Drink at least 64 oz or more of hydrating fluids daily, and be on the look out for constipation. Find out what your doctor recommends for this! Good luck and God Speed!
  13. And most of all... do TRUST the surgeon. You paid him a lot of money!
  14. Best wishes, come back and let us know how things go post-surgery!
  15. Also... could the band be too tight? See your PCP and Gastro docs asap!
  16. Agree with above. After fill liquids for 24 hours, then mushies for a day and then back to your regular stuff.
  17. Congrats. Use it while you have it, The zone is sneaky and can disappear without warning!
  18. I would try to limit protein based liquids to 80 g per day, but go for it on the hydrating liquids. C is right though.... your doctor or nutritionist should be your guide. Follow what they told you. When in doubt call and ask! That's what you paid them for! Good luck!
  19. I am confused....are you pre-op or post op? If pre-op egg whites are fine. If post-op and on mushy food egg whites are fine.
  20. At goal for over 8 months.
