LAP-BAND Patients

your getting hungry because your swelling is going down...you need to sip as much as you can (including your protein shakes) at this time...the first 4 to 6 weeks is for healing and not be overly concerned about losing weight and such....

your dr gave you instructions on what to drink and for how long, try to stick to it the best you can...any questions, its best too call and ask them as they may not want you to do what mine suggested.

I would try to limit protein based liquids to 80 g per day, but go for it on the hydrating liquids. C is right though.... your doctor or nutritionist should be your guide. Follow what they told you. When in doubt call and ask! That's what you paid them for! Good luck!
