  1. lol! Call it devine intervention.. God's way of telling you that you need new clothes!
  2. sound good! so you don't cook it after you roll it?
  3. "I got my tube out.. Woop, Woop, Woop, Woop!" I am sooooo happy! I was scheduled to get it out on the 28th. I DID NOT want to wait that long. I was barely secreting anything so I decided to call and ask to see if I could get it out earlier. I figured the worse they could say was no and I would be back at square one. Well, they took it out and removed my staples. I feel soooo much better! By the way, it didn't hurt a bit. Don't be scared!
  4. I can't wait for that! Seeings how I can't actually "see" what I am doing, I know that I may miss a spot (I just take it all off since it is easier than trying to shape something I can't see). I wonder if the Dr.s are used to seeing "patchy" jobs down there.
  5. I have never heard of this.. have you had your surgery yet?

    WTG! That is great!
  7. Holy Moly... 97 pre op? You are ALREADY a success!! You are going to rock the sleeve! I was sleeved on the 12th as well. I lost 10.2 pounds so far. I get on the scale every morning. I am addicted. Yesterday I didn't lose anything and this morning I only lost the .2, but I am moving down. Maybe not as fast as some, but it is definitely going in the right direction. I wouldn't worry about not losing anything. I don't see how you can't.
  8. In my rant, I forgot to say, "CONGRATS"! You are doing awesome.
  9. The liquid stage is awful! I have one more week to go. I haven't eaten anything solid since June 9th. I never thought I could make it this far w/out actually eating something. All my Protein drinks are making me gag! BLECH! It's all I can do to keep from grabbing a piece of meat and sucking the juice out of it. Sorry, didn't mean to thread-jack you. I guess I really have some built up tension over this.
  10. Remember that song, "You're My Inspiration"? Well, I'm singing it to you!
  11. I just bought some Xfusion.. thank you for the info on it. I hope it helps!
  12. I am nervous, too. I just had my surgery on the 12th so it hasn't happened yet. My hair is already SO thin though. You can see my scalp. My gut tells me I am going to lose a lot. I already bought a wig. I need to find a salon that will cut it and try not to be so embarassed to bring it in there to get it cut. I really hope my hair grows back.
  13. I took 5 weeks.. I took 1 week of vacation. I have submitted short term disability papers to the state of Cali. I am hoping that I am approved. As long as I get the std, my job will pay me the remainder of whatever the std doesn't so I will get full pay.
  14. I shaved mine today. I couldn't take it any longer! I say if it doesn't hurt, do it!
  15. Welcome to Two-ter-ville!
  16. I had it too.... don't trust that it is just air! Mine were sharts.
  17. This sounds like my story... I finally got snippy w/ the girl who handles submitting to insurance and asked her just exactly when she was going to start doing her job. Long story short, 3 days later, I was approved.
  18. Too bad I didn't have this menu! Lol
  19. mine is the same except 2 days after surgery, clear liquids only, then goes to 2 weeks full liquids.
  20. You know, It is always easier in life to NOT do anything than to do something. (kinda how most of us became obese) You are doing something!! Congrats to you. I wish you the best. It took me a long time to just get past the idea that people would view me as weak if I have WLS. I am so glad that I finally went thru with this because if I hadn't, I know I would have just kept gaining. We are all strong for making a decision to do something about it.
