  1. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!! You give me hope!!
  2. I think I need to invest in a magic bullet
  3. Eager- nice to see I have a surgery-buddy..
  4. My date is June 12th.. just found out today. How exciting and nerve racking at the same time.
  5. I have been trying for approval since last June. I was first going to get the Lap Band but after researching info, decided to go with the sleeve. I finally got my surgery date. I am going in on June 12 for the procedure. I am getting nervous now.. Is anyone else going in on the 12th?
  6. I second the Magnesium!! It will make you GO! I would start out w/ a small dose 250mg then up to 500mg if the 250mg doesn't work. The pills are really cheap too. And it is a mineral, not a laxative.
  7. I LOVE this post!! Really brought a smile to my face.. ♥
  8. thank you.. i need to find a dr for the sleeve now. I guess I should call the Lap Band place and tell them to hold the process.
  9. I am in IE and looking to get the sleeve.. can I ask who is your doctor?
  10. I have already started (and am almost finished with) the process for the Lap Band approval. I am having second thoughts and want to switch to VSG. I called 1 800 Lapband to get the lapband process started so I know they will not change my surgery type. Has anyone started an approval process for one type of surgery and switched to another? I am hoping that the tests that I have done will switch over to VSG and I won't have to go thru them again. I have Aetna PPO insurance. Also I live in So Cal (Lake Elsinore). Anyone have a doctor they recommend? And is everyone happy with VSG vs. Lap Band?
  11. I am curious too.. I am bumping in hope of feedback
  12. Thank you for your answers. Thinking back to what the doctor said, something has me curious. I am pretty sure he mentioned something about the stress test not holding up the approval process. I wish I would have thought about it at the time but he made me nervous. He seemed almost repulsed when I said that I got winded walking up one flight of stairs.. uggg.....
  13. I went in for all my testing today. They ordered a treadmill stress test after I told them that I don't exercise and due to my knee problems, can't climb stairs easily. I am worried about the test. There is no way I am able to run on a treadmill. Have any of you had the treadmill stress test? If so can you enlighten me a little? How fast does it go?
