last real cup of coffee no more skim left left, now will mix w vanilla shake,, and go to decaf,, 14 days to go- gona count one by one.

First partial day head aches, burping and sleepy n tired,,, not even been on this all day yet? should I take my prilosec????

I have basic... my highest pay out is $5k a year right now I've used $1600 in Dr visits etc. so I'd owe the most about $3500. Standard has the $300 you must meet 1st, but when I called the customer serv she told me IF you plan to stay in hospt, which I don't, standard is better for stays. I think the rest is the same but call fepblue they do know those answers. I know if you have the "center of excellence" hospital many things get covered, but the 30% of the band I'd have to look up in thre benefits book. The 2012 looks about the same as 2011, for WLS, so best call them and ask the diff. Good luck!

Dr asks a few questions, you get weighed, and they tell you to come in 4 weeks. The office staff starts giving you stuff to do and bring info from previous doctors and weight loss attempts. its simple.

I start tomorrow, someone mentioned cream of wheat? is that not CARBS? Im gonna do my best to follow the rules. My biggest issue will be my coffee in am's. I guess skim milk will NOT do, or powder stuff or fat-free creamer. sigh

My diet said i can have protien shakes plus,,,, PLUS,,, sugar free popcicles, sugar free jello, decaf coffee, broth soup,, i per day. YUMMY... I gonan starve,,, I do wonder how the digestive systems handles it all,,, GERD-. BMS? and your meds? with no food,,,

I have been having my last suppers for last 2 months with all of the delays to my surgery. There is nothing left in my frig, except eggs n skim milk. Milkshakes begin this Wed 9am- hope 2 weeks go by fast...... then I know Ill be too scared to eat.

starting mine wed. she told me dont even look at breakfast... eeechhh,, gonna see if can do coffee at least, bought some decaf little envelopes to slowly wean off. or wed gonna be major headache day. My big meal lately is breakfast,,, this will be different, but I am ready good luck with yours

i have hard time with hamburger now before surgery,, hard food to digest. red meats

I was approved yest submitted last Tues BCBS fed plan weeee, finally! Surgery Dec 22.. I am elated!

Hi well no care management for fepblue, she said it is all at the "review board" n that is that. Cannot talk to them but, they can call me or the DR. The notes were a mess and this rep straightened it all out and came and went and said all was in place, to call thursday. I was on the phone about 30 min with her, so now I just wait till Thur and see whats going on. Im tired of it all anyhow.. will wait. How are you guys doing?

Ok im in process, so far just waiting for approval with FEPBLUE basic- Icalled today, they settled all the notes as they were all over the place, and told me to call Thurs. . I dont know what state you live in, but i have spoken to different people who have gotten their bills here in Fla. and i have heard from $500 to $1300 out of pocket. Also if you go to the center of excellence,,, more is covered than a non COE hospital. So our ins is great but location and hospt and surgeons have alot to do with it. I do not think My surgeon has a partner. Never heard of one- chatted with one of his nurses on here or OH forum, who alos had it done and never mentioned it,,, so, plan for the worse and what you dont spend go buy new clothes!

It is employer driven, so check you policy-- it is ONLINE or call the customer service , they will know with your Pol number

I'm hanging !! How you be? how was your Thanksgiving? you ready?? I rather they say it is in for review,, reason- they say it's "on hold" when they needed the missing things, and it still says the same thing. I just do not know if they give it another term when all is there, and it moves forward. I know our base is in Jacksonville Fl. and do they still have to follow state laws? I'll take the #, cause they may have they one by me.. so thanks! It is getting cool now, 40's in the evening next week.. BRRR.

I called last week and they said my paperwork was in, but was on hold, apparently something was missing, I called this week and whatever was missing is there but still on HOLD.. I try to get understanding from the reps what that means... but they dont seem to know. if it is all there- it should be "under review" ? Guess, I am just wondering if the terms they use mean anything at all. I'ts Black Friday -so nobodys working today, so I'll check Monday. But just wondering if anyone ever had this " ON HOLD" term used on their approval request.
