  1. When I got to my room - I took off the oxygen and had my nurse remove the catheter. You just take a deep breath land its gone--no pain. I hate the oxygen tubes in nose-I can't breathe right with that fresh air coming through my nose. LOL
  2. For me TOM just stopped but aged Gouda cheese and green or kalmata olives.

I have made a few mistakes on this journey and gained weight but I have learned a lot about my habits. Some carbs do not agree with me at all. Last night I tried some tuna hubby brought in and had an adverse allergic reaction. Thank God I had liquid benadryl on hand. I turned the bottle up! :-) My friend is getting sleeved sometime next month and we have already taken advantage of the sale SW Airlines is having and got tickets for a girl's weekend in January. NSV - people at my job noticed last week that I have been losing weight. LOL Its funny because I didn't lose a pound last week as I pack on fluid for TOM. I realize I am a slow loser. I killed my metabolism with all the diets and starvation attempts to lose weight in the past. I almost tried every med or herbal remedy available. So today, I am 206.8. I am hoping to get to onederland by the end of the month. My Thanksgiving goal will be another 10 lbs. I have leg surgery on the 30th (to remove the titanium rod) and will be laid up for 3 weeks. I will check back in one month from now. Thanks everyone for your support and just listening to me talk/vent at times!!!
  4. Congratulations on the weight loss! I live in Houston and I was out in those winds yesterday no youknow now you can be tossed around by the wind!!! :-) Taking your chair with you and not having it fall - priceless!
  5. I am in! I am having surgery the week after to remove a rod in my leg and will be laid up for a few weeks. My best friend and I just got some flights to New Orleans from SW airlines they have a great sale but that is in January. I would like to be in onderland - 199.9 is good for me. So right now that's roughly 8lbs but I am a slow loser. 15 would be better but I can roll with 8.
  6. Freedom looks good on you! Keep up the good work. :-)
  7. I have always had a "rack" -- I have been getting fitted for my bras for the last 13-14 years at Top Drawer or Bra Specialist. No change in bra size for me since surgery. But last year when I went through my first major weight loss from 260-214 - I went from a 42G to a 38K. I wear goddess underwire bras--they keep the "sisters" up and not droopy. If I can't make it for some reason to the store, I order on Amazon--same style and size.
  8. I have tried a bite here and there from hubby's but not an entire salad yet. My doctor told me to wait a little while longer.
  9. GasX really didn't work well for me try phazyme.
  10. Congratulations--the first of many milestones!!! WTG!!!
  11. Hey, doing pretty good. Finally started TOM and it came with a vengeance! I am down to 209 which gives me 39 more to my doctor's goal. I have been funny with food this week not sure if it's the hormones or what. Just things I have liked or tolerated by the second bite I was spitting it out. YUCK. Well sort of an early ONEderland present I was given a iPad2. Yep! Komen is this Saturday and I am really looking forward to it. I forgot to mention down 10.6 this week - wowsers!
  12. Doing good. Sleeved on th 23rd. I am a slow loser. No real problems with foods as long as I chew and watch my portions. I did have a have horrible motion sickness and an old leg injury was aggrivated--it seems better today so I am hoping to get to the gym tomorrow. I worked out twice last week. 1st time on AMT--I only could last 15 minutes before I got off and headed to the treadmill. :-)
  13. 3 days. I was taking any pain meds really. I just had motion sickness.
  14. Hey, I am right there with you. The weight is not coming off like I would have hoped but when I was working my butt off last January it took a month and a half just to break 15 lbs off of my butt so....I am convinced from others who have chimed in that my body is just different and it is in SHOCK and trying to hold on for dear life everything until the very last moment and then give me a 10lb loss SURPRISE. My cycle came on 3 days after surgery for 7 days.....I have been looking for for the last week and can't find it no where.....I have been consitipated taking miralax..... our bodies are in shock and we have to wait it out
  15. I had surgery on Tuesday, August 23 and went back to work the following Tuesday. But I had already scheduled Friday Sept 2 off and Tuesday Sept 6 for the holiday. My only issue was nausea-motion sickness and getting enough Water in. My doctor had me extremely tight because of the histal hernia and diaphram. NOT to mention I have a co-worker that is a perfume and scented lotion bomb. OMG.......I left early my first day back--I was about to dry heave everywhere even after laying down for 30 minutes and then took off that Wednesday and Thursday and returned the next week with no issues. If I would have had the transdema patch the first week, I would have made it through without a hitch. I was not excessively tired at all. I was actually driving 4 days after surgery. BTW: I work in an office.
  16. Hey everyone, I am doing really well. Except for my right leg--I need to get that rod taken out. Otherwise, I have no problems eating or drinking. I did notice that this week I started to feel hungry--it wasn't that starving feeling but like hmmm its time to eat feeling. :-) At work I am able to get a lot more Water in that at home, I think it's the glass. J I really haven't had any problems since that horrible bouts of nausea. I stopped wearing the patch on Friday and no issues at all. The mushies like cream of wheat and grits made me a little sick so I progressed slowly using chicken and fish. Shrimp had a weird texture at first but now no problem. I went out with friends and had chicken wings. Sam's has some rotisserie wings, I can only eat 3 but it works for me. We celebrated my workout partner's birthday (she is having the surgery next month--hopefully). Went out to karaoke Friday night. We had Breakfast Saturday afternoon and I had turkey sausage and an egg. I could only get the sausage down and I was stuffed. Saturday night her actual birthday we saw the fight. How about we got to Buffalo Wild Wings at 6:30 pm and it was jammed packed. I just sipped on my tea and ate maybe 3-4 total. It takes me a while to chew, chew, chew….we had a blast. Hubby and I went to Maggianos yesterday. So, I shared with him stuffed mushrooms (I was stuffed after eating 2) and a two little strands of spaghetti…..the meatball texture was horrible to me. So I was done and satisfied! I had 3 baked wings later last night but I am so loving my sleeve. A couple of people have noticed at church. My cycle is late but I am hoping that it is turning normal—usually I am every 23 days like clock work. We will see. It is very noticeable in my face. My boobs and butt are a constant. I ordered nectar products last week and it gave me diarreah. Maybe it was just that flavor but I will try again today and see if the same thing happens. So I am down 6 lbs this week. Yippee!!!! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I worked out this week. It felt so good to get on the AMT but after 15 minutes, I was wiped out and got on the treadmill. LOL
  17. I was sleeved on Aug 23 by Dr. Brad Snyder. I work downtown and live close to the Galleria.
  18. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! WONDERFUL NEWS!
  19. Hey everyone, I am 225 gained a few pounds pre-TOM. Doing so much better with transdermol patch. I was down all weekend, my right knee was bothering me--I could barely walk. Its a little better now but I am wearing a brace. Hopefully, I can have surgery this year to get the rod taken out. But otherwise, doing good. I see inches lost more than pounds coming off. I did go to the outlet on Sept 2 and bought me an XL top from LOFT. I didn't want to purchase anything else quite yet so that I could have a shopping spree to look forward to. Everything is going down well. I just have to remember not to drink during meals.
  20. I think you should wait and see if the "relationship" goes further.
