I almost blew away!

We had really high winds yesterday in Dallas. I stepped out of my car and a big gust of wind caught me. It made be back up two steps! Now, a gust of wind can't really blow a 154 pound person "away", but it moved me back some. That would have never happened 99 pounds ago!

Also, I have jury duty on Monday. They don't have enough chairs there, and my husband told me to take one our our folding "chairs in a bag" to sit on. I smiled when he said it, and he asked what I was smiling for. I told him I realized I could sit in one of those "chairs in a bag" and not worry about having it collapse under me. He gave me a big hug - we both celebrated it.

And, today, I went to my PCP. She took me off the last of my blood pressure meds! NO MORE BLOOD PRESSURE PILLS!:D

Yahoo! No more meds for you! How exciting. . . I understand the wind issue! Had the same wind here in San Antonio, yup makes you really have to fight against it if your walking! Wait til a fridge door won't open right away cause the pressure has it stuck a bit and lifts you off the floor a bit. . that is really weird! Love the chair in a bag story!

Congratulations on the weight loss! I live in Houston and I was out in those winds yesterday no youknow now you can be tossed around by the wind!!! :-) Taking your chair with you and not having it fall - priceless!

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

I am truly truly so happy for you. You have accomplished so much and have so much to be proud of and celebrate! Congratulations!

:Banane25:Congratulations on your weight loss and being taken off BP meds. :Banane25:

:Banane25: I'll be right with you in a few months. :Banane25:

Congrats! I know what you mean about the chairs - I've ripped more than one of those things up in the past. The cheapy vinyl plastic chairs always scared me too, not only have I broken a few of them but they stuck on my butt when I got up! No more!

I had this same experience in Bryan/College Station yesterday. I wore heels for the first time in a long time and it really took extra balance not to fall over! I loved it though!;)

YAY! Wonderful NSVs!!

Skcunningham, Congratulatios on all this great progress! And being off those meds!! Wow! How great is that!!!!

Rootman & Julie, you both made me laugh outloud with the chair stuck on the butt and the balancing on the heels!!! LOL Been there, done that!!!!! LOL Thanks for the great sense of humor!!!!
