  1. Looks yummy! How many carbs are in the wontons?
  2. I dont have any advice but I just wanted to say congrats on losing 86 pounds in 3 months, thats amazing!! It sounds like whatever your doing is working, so keep it up!
  3. I actually went a few days ago. Now I will say Im not a seafood person, the only thing close to seafood I eat is canned tuna with mayo and relish lol. I got a chicken ceasar salad which was soooo good. They do have alot of healthy options on their menu (Lighthouse), my friend got the Sailors Platter (not so healthy since it came with breaded shrimp) but the broiled fish that was used I actually really liked it, it was very mild, not much of a fish taste. Next time I go Im going to ask what kind that was used, I would eat that again.
  4. I thought I didnt, but I was mentioning this to my mom earlier (shes a RN) and she told me she said she remembered I did have it checked out and they said it was fine (she has thyroid issues and is on medication) Im thinking about maybe getting it checked out again, I dont have insurance so I hope it doesnt cost to much. Im going to head to Better Health later and get some of that BioSil, from the reviews I read online it seems to work? Its worth a try, I think its only about $20, I'll let you all know how it works out for me, I know things work differently for people.
  5. I agree with everything you said. I am so hoping this year I can wear a cute/sexy Halloween costume, for many years I have never dressed up or went to costume parties because I felt out of place or nothing looked right on me.
  6. I've had hair loss for a few years now before surgery, so I'm losing it now, I'm not sure if it's due to the surgery or just regular how it's been for a few years. I should have done to the doctor about it last year when I actually had insurance. I always thought it was because I had PCOS (I have the thinning hair symptoms, facial hair, weight, dark skin patches, and I didn't have a period, I've had one regular now since surgery) but when I had my labs done by my PCP last year they said I didn't have PCOS, so I have no idea what's going on lol. Anyways I'm willing to try anything that might help, I've just been taking biotin. Sorry for any typos, I'm on my phone.
  7. It will get better, trust me! The week after I was sleeved was Thanksgiving, it sucked watching everyone eat yummy food while I had my soup lol but you know what it got easier
  8. I use to make these all the time when I did LC, they are so yummy!
  9. You hit the nail on the head, about everything you listed I feel the same! I'll list a few that are first to pop in my head. One thing I always worried about the most is when I went somewhere would I be able to fit in that chair or booth, or would it be able to hold all my weight. I want to be smaller then my BF, I want to be able to put on a t-shirt of his and have it be baggy on me, not the other way around! I want him to be able to pick me up, or feel comfortable sitting on him and not feel self conscious that Im squishing him lol. I want to be able to walk into any store that I want and be able to fit the clothes. I want to be pain free. I want to feel normal like everyone else.
  10. Wow thats insane! I cant belive I've lost 5 of the 20 pounds, and 1 of the 10.
  11. I feel I've been in a stall, hopefully I can make some progress... grr
  12. Mine have shrunk I just hope they dont shrink to much more! Ive been putting off getting a new bra for now but I could probably go a cup size smaller.
  13. Congrats!! Wishing you the best of luck and a speedy recovery
  14. Im sure it will be fine, if your worried about it closing just put it back in when you get in your hospital room, or have someone help if you're to drugged up lol jk
  15. How long have you had it pierced for? I've had mine pierced for a few years now and have had mine out for about a month and still got it threw, had to push a bit but it went in lol
  16. I had my nose and tongue taken out during surgery, you can put them back in when your out
  17. Yes, I pretty much drink like I did pre-op besides "gulping" , I havent tried to kinda scared that it might come back up lol.

I guess I will be the brave one to post lol! Somedays I can be gassy, others I will not, I guess it just depends on what I have ate. And the only time I have came close to the "never trust a fart" is when I was very badly constipated and took a laxative, but you know how messed up those make you, I just guess everyone is different.
  19. Congrats!! I just looked at your before and after and think you look amazing, I think 160 looks great on you
  20. That looks so yummy! I love guacamole, but Ive tried so many pre-made kind that I hated, I think I'll try this brand out this week, I hope I like it.
  21. I dont have hunger like I did pre-op, I dont get the growling, or hunger pains, but if I go a long time without eating I get the urge to eat and feel like I need to eat something. Its kind of hard to explain, but it is nowhere near what it was pre-op, I just hope it stays like this.
  22. I was sleeved 11-16 so Im about a month ahead of ya. If I were you I would try lowering my calories, I try to stay around 600-700, but I do have A LOT more weight to lose then you. Just a suggestion.

They were I would have been more creative but all I had was some sausage and onions, I think some peppers and mushrooms would have been good in them too
  24. I came across a great recipe blog tonight Emily Bites (Thanks to a member here on VST) and she makes these neat bites with woton wraps at the bottom, I loved the idea, but from what I understand they can be pretty carby, so I decided to try out some low-carb wraps instead, with some turkey sausage and onion egg bites(If you never heard of egg bites check out Eggfaces site, great recipes for all stages of WLS, shes awesome!) OMG they came out amazing! It almost reminded me of a thin biscit on the bottom, I topped them with a little salsa, yumm! I will definantly make these again!
