Longest Stall That Was Broken?
I didn't read every reply so sorry in advance if I am repeating something someone has already said. Sounds like to me you are at the "6 month stall" I'm sure if you search here or other WLS forums you will see it is very common for us to have. I was in the same boat as you for over a month I kept on gaining and losing the same three pounds and didn't understAnd why because I was eating good. I finally ended up dropping about 5 pounds after that stall but our weight loss does slow down usually when we get this far out. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Body Dysmorphia In Reverse
Seems like that is alot of peoples response when we mention WLS, I got that from a few people. My BF isnt overweight, when we first meet he was maybe 40-50 pounds over weight, he has lost about 40 and now when I look at pictures I can definantly tell a difference, I told him before he lost that I never looked at him like that, and its almost like I seen him how I see him now, weird I know. Sometimes I think he forgets how big I was, I will show him pictures and he is amazed, hes llike "Damn your so tiny now!" Not tiny, but hopefully getting there soon lol

Body Dysmorphia In Reverse
Lol I do the same thing! Im always asking my sister too and afterwards Im thinking "God she thinks shes sooo hott" I just want to have alot of pictures for progress and also to see if I can notice any difference. Taking pictures has helped me so much though, because most of the time when I look in the mirror I dont see it, but looking and compareing pictures help so much. Im still mad I lost my measurements that I took had pre-op

Body Dysmorphia In Reverse
I can so relate to what everyone has said. When I was at my heaviest I knew I was big/fat, but when I looked in the mirror I thought, it's not that bad, I didn't see myself for how big I really was, until I would see a picture! My boyfriend and I went to this local concert, I got this cute top and I remember I thought I looked really cute that day. Well later in the night we took pictures and when I seen them I was horrified! I can't believe I walked out of the house. I'm so mad my computer crashed and lost the picture, it would have been a good before one. Now I feel like I have the reverse problem! I know I don't look like my biggest, but I have a hard time seeing myself as 100+ down. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Sugar Free Ice Cream
I have a bookmark from a lady on OH who makes protein ice cream with zip lock bags, I will copy and paste what she wrote (Not sure if we're able to post other forums here or not) I have never tried this, but I think I will, sounds very easy! What you need: Materials 1/2 cup milk or half and half (WLS friendly use Skim milk or FF half and half) 1/2 cup whipping cream (heavy cream) (WLS SKIP or USE FF COOL WHIP) 1/4 cup sugar (WLS REPLACE WITH SPLENDA OR STEVIA OR SWEETENER TO TASTE) For WLS version add 1 scoop of whey vanilla protein or whatever flavor you are working with... 1/4 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla flavoring (vanillin) 1/2 to 3/4 cup table salt or rock salt (Table Salt is what I use) 2 cups ice 1-QUART ZiplocTM bag 1-GALLON ZiplocTM bag Another version that is simpler.... Ingredients: 1/2 cup milk (skim or FF for WLS friendly version) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar or splenda/stevia or sweetener of choice (or to taste) 6 tablespoons table salt.... Preparation: Put milk, vanilla and sugar (Splenda) and Whipping Cream into a pint or quart-sized freezer bag. Seal well. Fill a large, gallon-sized freezer bag with ice. Add the salt. (Rock or table salt okay) Put the smaller bag into the larger bag and seal. shake and mix until the ice cream thickens, about 10 minutes. You can also let the kids gently throw the bag back and forth to help mix the ice cream. The bag gets very cold, so you might want to use towels to hold it. Your kids or YOU or our family/friends will enjoy making, and eating, this ice cream made in a ziplock bag. Prep Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes
