  1. We are all happy to answer any questions you may have.
  2. Deb, how much protein do you have each day?
  3. That's what we're here for! Congratulations! That is an amazing weight loss.
  4. Glad you two hooked up. I will be going around 10-12. I am excited to see everyone again.
  5. I am a big baby when it comes to pain too. I was fully expecting lots of it. My friend told me her port site was very painful for a few weeks. Other than the first day, I really could not tell I had surgery. I am quickly reminded if I eat too much though.

I am fine, just a little mad at myself for being dumb. My friend has a little brick flower box next to herdriveway. They had their trailer parked on the driveway. My car sits really low to the ground and I didn't see it. I was being careful trying not to hit their trailer. The flower box is toast.
  7. That was what a meant. I typed it wrong!:001_smile:
  8. Did you do the ricotta bake that you add tomato sauce over the top or the one you mix with sf pudding?
  9. I just looked at the package they sent me. It says 11 grams of carbs for half a serving for 4 oz of water. Maybe that is the nutrition label they use for all the packages? It would seem to me that if 1/2 a serving is 11 grams, a whole serving would be 22. That's unless they use the same label on the sample packs as they do on all the packs.
  10. I would go nuts only weighing once a week because I would expect a loss when I weighed each week. This way weighing every day, I pretty know what to expect when I get on there.
  11. it's weird . It comes and goes for me. I have had small glasses of milk and done okay. Yesterday I went to a wedding and I could not figure out what I at or drank but I sure had gas and diarrhea (sorry tmi) when I got home.
  12. oh, you should post that at Lap Band Surgery and Lap Band Discussion Forum
  13. WasA told me the 8 oz portions are 19-22 grams of carbs. I have the half portions that you get for the $3 but I will have to check later what it has listed for carbs for the half portions.
  14. I've heard they are very good but the carb count is pretty high. the samples they send you are half portions. You mix it with 4 0z of water. I haven't tried mine yet. I can't seem to bring myself to drink something with that many carbs.

I'd like to have a WII. they are pretty spendy and then you have to pay extra for the WII active. I smashed up my car so my extra money is going to go to getting it fixed:mad0::thumbup:
  16. Are you supposed to advance to food or full liquids after clear liquid?
  17. My daughter has RNY too and she has gained back 50 lbs which she can't seem to lose no matter how much she tries. She gets really tired of all the stuff she has to take because she does not absorb all the nutrients from her food.
  18. Man, I am so sorry to hear so many of you are having problems. I have no problems what so ever, so I guess I better find some wood to knock on. I take a handful of pills with about 24 oz of water every morning and evening, with no trouble. I better start counting my blessings.
  19. I can't wait for it to start. The classes don't start until the end of Sept. but I found out about a place that has dances every Wed. evening and don't mind newcomers. I am going to check it out this Wed.
  20. I hope you feel better soon and are pain free.
  21. Hope you have better luck than me finding it. Maybe I'll ask someone at Walmart tomorrow. Maybe they don't keep it with the other yogurt.
  22. Ready to drink EAS or Atkins are not thick. I am not sure if you want to try any type of Protein drinks or not. Eas is really thin like Water. I am so sorry you're going through this. It has to be rough . I'm glad you have your faith in God to help you through it.
  23. I was 15 lbs from goal when I got the sleeve. I gained that back from being unfilled. I was a self pay no matter what. My insurance did not cover WLS of any kind for any reason. The band was making me miserable so I didn't care. I just wanted it out and I knew I would gain it all back without another WLS.
  24. Yes, I do too. Dr. Aceves keeps us in the hospital for 3 days. I was glad I was in case I needed anything, even though I was so bored. I hope your pain goes away soon.
  25. I was throwing up in my sleep. I got my band unfilled and it went away but it came back. It made me nervous as to what was going on inside that I could not see. I was a self pay for the band and I self paid for the revision.
