Update - amazingly, it only took one email to get the hospital to acknowledge the problem and say they'd issue a refund. I am SUPER surprised. A teeny bit irritated that I had to catch it, contact insurance and contact the hospital to get it done, but it could have been SO much harder.

    How long will I lose?

I started at 227 lbs, because I was overweight, I had several health issues that were my real motivation for the surgery. I don't regret it for a second. Everything is getting better. I had surgery Nov. 19th and have lost 37 lbs. Most of my issues have already resolved or are resolving. I am apparently losing a bit over a half a pound a day. How long will this continue if I stay faithful to the program?

Soda hurts my belly SOOOO much. Once in a while when I am with my husband and kids at dinner if they have soda I may sneak a sip, and still 2.5 years out, its hurts so bad I cant even be bothered with it for months after that sip. Youre not missing anything ! Keep your determination strong!!

    Know your post-op insurance coverage

Yep. Blue Cross was really quick to issue me a correct EOB, but getting the hospital to fix it is proving harder. AT least at the doc's office for visits, I just tell them I'm still covered and I'm not paying the copay, so I dont have to try to get money back from them

Liquids go right through you. Once you are able to eat solid food like chicken take it slow or you will be hurting!
