8 days post op. Help.

Recommended Posts

Today is the 8th day of my post up and I've been put on pureed/soft foods. Here's the issue now... I've been ok, no nausea, no vomiting. I did something really bad. I ate a chicken sandwich and some other solid foods here and there. I ate very, very, very slow and in small bites. It hasn't caused any nausea or vomiting. My band has just been placed but there isn't any fills yet. What can I do??? I feel so terrible. I hope this won't cause any damage.

Please be kind to yourself and try to remember why you wanted to change your life.
No fills in your band does mean it is not working the right way yet. For most people. A few don't get fills. Most do. Until we get to a spot that works to eat less and be full, and get a bit more active. It is not easy. But it can be done,
(Banded 12/06. Lost and kept off 90 lbs)
I have to work on it. But it does work. Nothing is perfect. So I just start over. And so can you!
Good luck and keep posting !

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
