first post-- protein question

Recommended Posts

I've gotten used to the Premier Protein shakes. They're available at the Target pharmacy. I believe they come in chocolate, strawberry, banana, and vanilla flavors. Good news is that they have 30g of Protein. Bad news is that it's an acquired taste. I prefer only the chocolate.< /p>

Premiere Protein makes me throwup. I can't drink most Protein Shakes. The unflavored protein or chicken broth flavored in mashed potatoes was good for me but too many carbs.

Hi everyone!

I just had my sleeve done on 1/10/17. So far, the recovery has gone well. I am having a hard time getting all of the recommended Water in, as well as eating all the food and Protein in one day. The water makes me feel so full! My question is..... I know protein is very important, especially in the beginning, but I am having a really hard time tolerating it. I don't like the taste of any flavor ive tried and it makes me gag everytime I drink it. Are there any alternatives to the shakes? like maybe a chewable protein Vitamin or something? please help me out!

There is protein water that you can buy at target

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
