Protein shakes, yes! A good way to get in your Protein, according to my nutritionist. Also yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs, that kind of stuff. My nutritionist said all I need is abotu 250 or 300 more calories a day.

Did you get unfilled? I did and now I am SOOOO hungry. Wish I didn't get unfilled (I only had 2ccs anyway).

How far along are you?

I'm almost 15 weeks. Going a little nuts because I'm waiting on my genetic testing results. I also hate that appts are a month apart. I wish I could go more often to make sure everything is ok with baby.

It's nice to see other preggie banders.

I had just found our I was pregnant when I posted this. I am 24 weeks this friday and I haven't gained a pound....I've actually went from 283 to 268.... they say as long as I'm eating 1500 daily then that's okay also I don't have any Fluid in my band now. I got a complete unfill at week 16 and have been sick basically my whole prrgnancy from morning sickness and kidney stones to gallbladder surgery at week 18. In and out of the hospital so I've had to make myself eat which is completely opposite from about 2 years ago when I couldnt stop myself from eating.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
