Rough day, feeling irate and...

Recommended Posts

It's actually been a few rough days, emotionally. Yesterday was my best dog's first year's passing anniversary (lost 2 more dogs within 6 months of that - all were very old). My husband, who has taken a few weeks off to help me through the surgery, is DRIVING ME NUTS (bless his heart, he is hovering!). Does anyone else seem overly moody after this surgery? I'm normally not this bad, and I've heard fat retains hormones, that when the fat is lost the hormones are released into the system-NOT what I need right now! Help!

Yep, I totally get it. When I feel that way I watch the tv show "Snapped". Helps put things in perspective for me. All of my evil thoughts begin to dissipate. =)

Thanks, is this the voice of experience?! I'd like it just to be over , you know? I mean the hormones...hey, I've done the menopause thing already, husband definitely doesn't need that trip again! Merry Christmas!

Thanks, all. Today is not only another day, but a better day, and I'm thankful for your support. It's nice to know we can count on our pals here to bolster us up when the chip are down. And up, as well! Merry Christmas, everyone!

It gets better. The intense cravings subside. Hang in there.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
