All the toxins that have been in your system are starting to come out through your pores. Every lb. Is letting go of toxins that were stored there.

Good thing really! Just do your usual facial treatments and it will soon get better. :)

RJ is correct! Before my surgery my skin was breaking out all over. Face, arms, shoulders, legs you name it. Toxins it is. Our bodies are in a world of hurt. This will clear up, keep forging ahead. All will be well.

I'm glad I found this because I thought I was losing my mind. I've NEVER had acne, but since the surgery I have this nasty outbreak on my shoulders that doesn't seem to clear up. I guess it would help if I would just leave it a lone (not picking the scab - yuck). I've been using the acne body wash, so it helps. I want it to dry up so the marks will fade. Before I didn't want to wear sleeveless because my arms were so big, now I'm self conscious because of the acne:(

Toxins, yes, but also hormones. There are a lot of hormones in your stored fat. During the fastest part of the fat burning process (first 3-6 mos) these hormones are being released quickly into your system, resulting in acne and emotional turmoil. We were warned of this effect during my pre op educational classes. It's temporary and will level off. :-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
