Full like after thanksgiving dinner

Recommended Posts

I still have my band, and am trying to understand what full will feel like with the sleeve.....tonight I ate so much that my "lower" stomach got full - like sick full how you feel on thanksgiving prior to wls! Is this the kind of full you feel with the sleeve? If so, I am "golden" for the sleeve because I hate feeling this way!!!

For me I can take maybe 3-4 bites of say a sandwich and I'm full. Sometimes it feels like the food is in my throat. Not really a sick feeling maybe like pressure but up higher in your stomach. Then I start burping and the food slowly starts to go down. Might be cause I ate too fast or didn't chew it well enough. But it eventually goes down

I am 'full' after two or three bites, but trust me..that sounds better than the reality of living it. I am 12 weeks out. Best of luck to you!

Like CarrieP,It doesn't take much to get that full feeling. Sleeved in March. I feel comfortable with 2- 3 ounces (volume). If I try to eat anymore--I get that uncomfortable "in the throat-burpy feeling" too. A quarter of a sandwich is almost too much.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
