Clear Liquids, Full liquids, and liquids?

Okay, so I'm supposed to be on full liquids this week, but I'm wondering if my understanding of full liquids is very different from everyone else's.

My nutritionist said to eat: Protein shakes, sugar-free pudding, yogurt (dannon light & fit), and blenderized Soups.

Clear Liquids (broth, Water, and such) the day before and a few days after surgery.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is doing this or did their doctors suggest something different when it came to liquids

I did just that. sounds right. good luck

I didn't have to do just liquids at all before surgery. Liquids only for 10 days, mushy foods starting on day 11 and started adding "real" food on day 14.

Like girlpilot said, what you're doing sounds fairly typical. Some variation from doc to doc but you're doing just about the same as others.

Yeah sounds like mine. For a week it's liquids but not just clear. I can have liquid yogurt, cream soups strained first, etc.
