I am fairly restricted now and sort of like it that way. However

I can't seem to eat or drink anything without having to spit a bunch of times. A "normal", 1/2 cup meal will result in almost 1/4 cup of saliva. Given, I drink a lot of water throughout the day but should I have it loosened? I have lost close to 85 pounds and was banded last Dec1 but still need to lose 15 more.

You may need to have it loosen or give it a week to see if the swellen has gone down around the band....If you are still able to eat and not vomit u r doing good.
