I looked online and Barnes & Noble is out of copies, and there is only 1 used one listed listed in good condition. I could not find anything called getting to goal. Is there a website for your Dr. to see if these books could be purchased through it?

Thanks

It sounds like you mostly want post-op information. I think these forums are the best place for that information!

My favorite book, which really helps with pre-op and post-op and covers all WLS:

Weight Loss Surgery, Merle Cantor Goldberg, Book - Barnes & Noble

It was available at my library.

try this website, he has his books but also has a treasure chest of info in the fourm of articles, podcasts ect. hope it helps. :scared2:

Great site Pipedoc. Thanks for posting it for Spencerb333. It's great for all of us.

I am reading a book right now waiting to get banded while on my 6 month supervised diet. The book is "Weight Loss Surgery with the Adjustable Gastric Band" by Robert W. Sewell, M.D., F.A.C.S. It's quite informative for before and after getting the AGB.

Hope it helps, I am 1 month post op on tuesday and already down 20 lbs since surgery and 30 alltogether. It seems to work so far! good luck and stay motivated!:scared2:
