  1. Hi Everyone I'm a Zumba instructor and it's fun. The 1st exercise that's nonjudgemental. You don't have to know the step as long as you are moving and having fun that all that counts. It's better with a group of people than by yourself. I you go by yourself with 5minutes you will have a friend. so you will not feel alone. I say go for it. ZUMBA
  2. I'm not hating on you I'm so proud of you. It's people like you that give others motivation. Eventhough the thought of I wish it was me. Good job and keep up the good work.:w00t:
  3. Good Job Kim good motivation. I need your encouragement:thumbup:
  4. I had been at a still still since December also only because. I stopped exercising and started eating the wroong foods. I just started working out again and hopefully I will stick to it. I had to go get an unfill on yesterday because I was vomiting in my sleep. Having heart burn real bad. That was going since my last fill in february and was just getting worst. She took out 0.25cc and I feel so much better but I'm able to eat more food. I was satified before. But being too tight will not help you lose weight it causes complications.

When people make a mistake they just laugh and continue dancing. I promise you no one will be making fun. Yes Zumba is fun for all shapes and sizes. Please don't think you are to big or weigh too much to do Zumba. You are just having fun, making friends and losing weight while you do it. Please try it. you may like it. I'm an instructor and I'm not skinny still over 200lbs.

  8. Hi I have the EA Active and got the Wii Fit Plus for Christmas. The active is fun and I haven't done too much with the Fit plus but I did do the analysis and the stepper that is the furthest I've gotten. I have to say this the Wii Fit Plus Gives you your BMI it tells you hot OBESE you are and it gives you your BODY age. It aged my body 9 years older. It told me I had a body of a 50 year old. That mean I have some work to do. It makes you want to just pick it up and throw it out the door or go with the challenge and improve your body.
  9. Hi everyone we have made through another year I ended the year with a gain of 1.5 lbs that put me at 208 lbs. Now that the holidays are over I have to work on one that. Congrats to those of you who reached their goals, mini goals and the big ONEDERLAND. Happy New Years to you all. I have a lot to be thankful for. I am living and breathing, I can get up and exercise, I CAN LOSE THE WEIGHT I always wanted to lose; Thanks to my assistant THE BAND. I feel good, my health have improved. I don't have high blood pressure, high blood sugar, or high cholesterol. I can walk up the stairs without getting tired. I can ride in the car without my back being in extreme pain. This year I will feel even better, if The Lord say the same. I hope you all have a positive new year and I want to leave this thought with you. Do Unto Others As You Have Them Do Unto You. Think Positive Don't Give Up. Last but not lease you are only a failure if you give up. So remember if you fall just get up and start again. This road is not alway easy. You WILL have stumbling blocks. But you are stronger and you can make your way through those blocks. Thank you for reading my blog and will be looking to read more of yours. Until next time. Please share my page.

  12. Have they check you to see if you have a hiatal hernia? If so it can be repaired during your lapband surgery.
  13. I haven't had those symptoms but if you are going to have an endoscopy yes you need someone to drive you home because of the medications they will give you.
  14. Restriction is when the amount of food you take in is restricted and you are satisfied for about 3-4 hrs without getting hungry.
  15. I hope things are going well with you now. Please update me on your progress. Good to here you didn't give up on the band.
  16. The good Lord gave you a body that can stand most anything. It's your mind and motivation you have to convince. You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be. Let that person who is inside come out and see the world. Take it one day at a time. Happy Holidays. PS: Update me on your progress:thumbup:

  18. Hi I had lap band and Hiatal hernia repair and the the recovery period was the same give or take a day or two. You CAN NOT do a lot of bending. The surgery took a little longer because the hernia added to the surgery. The pain and discomfort I did not feel only gas pain and a little discomfort at the port site which is normal. You have to get up and walk. Please follow the doctors orders.
  19. Hi there You have to take 1 day at a time. 1st of all you are not a failure because you haven't completely given up. The good thing is you regnized you have a problem and it's time to fix it. You need to say it's a new day with new rules. Make a menu for the week and follow it. Cut up some fruits and vegatables and have healthy snacks available. Stay away form the fast foods. You have to get back to exercising. You have to start somewhere. You can't sit there feeling sorry for yourself and thinking you are a fealure; because if you do you will never try to get back on track. You didn't go through this surgery for nothing. So I say to you Work that band. and not let it work you. You can do it. I believe in you.:willy_nilly:
  20. Hi there sorry to hear you are having trouble but I don't understand why your doctor told you not to eat jello its considered a liquid. It melt as soon as you eat it. They served me sugar free jello in the hospital. the next day after surgery along with broth. As far as the gas pain you will have to walk and probably take some gasX. For the nausea maybe you can call your doctor and ask for some Phenergan or zofran. Please Please Please don't do to much bending and you are not supposed to be lifting anything right now. If you have a baby you have to be careful try to sit and hold the baby/child. It will get better. Protein shakes should help a little with the hunger. Good luck and feel better.:willy_nilly:

In the beginning you are going to have to crush them if they are big If they are small you may tolerate them. They don't metabolize differently. hopefully you won't need them afterwards? How high is your BP? Is it Chronic if not you may not need them. But inform your primary maybe they can give you something smaller other than that you will have to crush them
  23. Oh thank you
