Banded and SO Happy I could just...

Hello Everyone.

It is almost like a dream come true for me. I finally have my band (Oct 29th), and am now home trying to work the gas through my system. What has been wonderful is that I have read all of your posts and experiences and knew that everything I was experiencing was NORMAL (because of the info on this message board).

Anyway, I am so inspired, I decided to start a blog and capture my adventure.. so please visit my story below..

The only downside to all of this is that I did leave the hospital heavier than I arrived.. I know this is probably fluids and GAS (ha ha).. Belly is swollen, but hopefully with time this all goes away...

Be well

Welcome and congrats. Blogs are a great idea. I know there are so many amazing blogs I read, and youtube channels I follow. All have been amazingly helpful and inspiring. Happy you are here!

Happy for you! This is a wonderful thing you have done for yourself. Stay on track and before you know it, you'll be to goal. Loved your blog.

I too was banded on Oct 29th...so far so good...tough first night at the dr gave me codiene which does not agree with me, so I am now just taking Tylenol every 4 hrs. I look forward to the journey and am greatful for all of the posts and inspiration...it took me a year to get insurance approval and now I am finally here and counting the days to spring break to go on a long awaited hike with my family. Good luck to you and I look forward to reading your blog.

Glad everything went well.. I will be following your blog  Hope to get my band in feb..
