Hello all! I'm going to get banded on 11/19 and I'm super excited! Just curious how everyone has been doing pre and post op.

I am new to this site and I am getting banded November 25th, I am excited as well. My cousin just got banded two weeks ago and has lost 23 pounds so far (that's including pre-op liquid). But good luck and let me know how all goes.

Hi there!...I am being banded on November 18.....right before the holiday season for us!!!....Can't wait for the challenge!!

Congrats to everyone who is getting banded! You are in for a big life change!! I wish everyone success!

I have not been banded for long (June of this year) but I really feel like I've done well with the band so far. I think if I can do well, anyone can! I still have a long way to go to get to goal, but I have lost almost 70 pounds since June (including 20 pounds lost preop). My postop was pretty easy and I recovered quickly. I am going in for my 4th fill on Wednesday, and I think that should get me to the right amount of restriction. I hope so.

Please keep us updated on your progress and take advantage of LBT! So much information here!

Congrats! I am having my lab work done and I am faxing my 5 years medical history on Monday. My doctors office will submitt to my insurance for approval on Monday! I am praying for approval to have my surgery before the end of the year. I am want to start the New Year with a new tool that will help me reach my goals.
