"It's All About DeLarla's Hair" Poll

I'm not sure if I ever said this, but I've always said I would go blonde just once in my life. Last month I went totally blonde in front, but left the underside dark brown. I'm having my roots done tonight.

I said I'd go blonde once in my life and stay blonde for one year. It took me 42 years to do the whole front blonde. Everyone says they LOVE the new Blonde DeLarla. I personally don't like like it because it makes makes my face look weird (maybe the wrong skin tones?)

WHAT SHOULD I DO TONIGHT?

1. Match dark roots to already blonde hair and keep underside dark.

2. Go fully blonde one time only?

3. Change immediately and go darker?

4. Opt of a darker shade of blonde?

5. Shave my head

6. Keep it short

7. Go shorter

8. Grow it out

By the way, we can start a whole thread for all of us. I suck at picking out my own clothes and hair styles. This could be our own On-Line Makeover page.

What's the opposite of a butt kisser? I don't kiss up to anybody! Except Marty McSorley. I'd kiss up to him. Or Bruce Springstein. Or Bob Segar. Well, I guess there's a few.

P.S. Vines, while you're on the line, exactly WHEN will you be here to start painting my house? It's dying for color, just like my hair.

I like the Red idea too, but Im partial to red..since Ive been dyiong my hair red..it get much more attention and now that I have lost 100 lbs..GAME ON!

GO RED!!!

Well, coming to pain would would involve something I just don't have a lot of right now... time. Or money.. Okay, time and money are really short right now. Full time student on a tiny little stipend, and we don't qualify for student loans. so... crap I"m late for class again.

Lots of foils - blonde, honey, caramel and some dark brown ones. I'm not dark and I'm not fair. I would look seriously weird if I went all blonde, but as I get older, dark brown is too harsh. So I have lots and lots of colours and it all blends into a nice honey brown sort of tone - it hides the grey way better than a full tint does and it takes less maintenance but when you do get it done, sheesh, its expensive.

My hair has been every color under the sun from platinum blonde to blue/black. In my 20's and 30's I played with my hair color constantly, and frankly, I loved the really dark red-almost purple (Hybiscus from Hydriance) that I wore for awhile. Everyone else hated it, but I loved it.

After dying my hair black for a year or so, I developed an allergy to hair color and am now stuck with my natural dishwater blonde with a pretty grey streak.

DeLarla, hair is the one part of ourselves we can almost 100pct control. I say - be creative and fun with yours. If you have the choice to "be someone else" for six week, go for it. Have fun with it. Enjoy it to the max!

I say highlight it, get some of your natural color in it all the way around, have the honey blond and the chocolate brown mixed together.

The first time I decided to have my hair highlighted was when I was 39. I love it and its 3 years later. I get so many complements that the blond highlights brighten my face. The only reason I would stop getting it highlighted is because of $$$ Its $110.00 each time I go and thats not including tip. But don't do the fat lines, do the thinner ones, it looks more natural especially when growing it out.

I say yuck. My girl just re-did the roots blonde, but she didn't go "Billy Idol White" like I had it before. It looks great, but she explained that she did the color to match the style. It was either cut me into a Pixie and re-do my color, or touch up the roots and wait for this style to grow out. I knew I loved her for a reason.

But since I'm growing out that fun bob, I decided to flip it up for my big date Saturday night, which looked terrible. Go ahead and pooh-pooh my picture, and YES, I've gained a few (fluctuates between a 5-10 lb gain.)

Keep in mind, we all have an opinion, so please please please be nice. If you have anything to say that will make me barf, then let's see a FULL BODY pic of you! Muhwahahahaaha!

OMGosh, who could say anything the least bit horrible? You look SMASHING!!!! I love it. You are gorgeous. (panting a bit from your hubby, too. Hottie!)

I like the hair and the picture is awesome. I'm so into fall colors right now so I would have a little brown and reddish brown put in on top - like about a half dozen foils of each per side. Ask your hairdresser.

If you have anything to say that will make me barf, then let's see a FULL BODY pic of you! Muhwahahahaaha!

And there you have it !!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

Your hair looks great and so do you.

You opted for the option I would have chosen for you had I been around the day you asked for opinions, lol. I very much like the more 'natural' blonde color on you.

Lookin' hot! :P

I'm a fan of REDHEADS, but have been a faithful blonde for many years also. I have been every shade of color except for black and I enjoy changing my hair as much as I much as I can - I always do something different.

For now - I say go totally blonde - it will be fun for awhile - then you need to try being a redhead - I change the color of my hair depending on what's going on in my life. I really find people react differently to me depending on my hair color - or maybe thats just what I think - its an amazing experience - you should try it! Permanent haircolor is still NEVER permanent.

One advice about going RED - reds fade awful quickly and require more maintenence to keep it bright and pretty, but also being blonde you have to keep up on your roots - nothing I hate more (and I'm guilty of it too) is having dark roots with blonde hair. I''m not talking just a little root showing - talking like the skanks that have 3 inches of black roots with platiunum blonde hair - gross! Only once did I ever let my hair get that bad and I saw a pic - that was enough! When I'm blonde I keep up on that shit now! I looked soooo white trashy - its still a sad pic!
