Hello all. I'm going for the one on one information session Friday. Has anyone been here or to this doctor? How was your experience?

I must say that I Started out with True Results, And I had to change who I was using due to Insurance charges and I felt that the did not disclose all the information. I was under the impression that I was going to meet DR Hart at my one on one but we did not. Our assessment was done by NP, and the information session was given by nonmedical personnel. I was told that it was DR Hart who was the DR and he was in my network, but you never see him they told me later you see only on surgery day. I was billed for a Dr out of network and they charged for things that could be done in primary care office for your co pay IE EKG, LABS. To make a long story short we (my Partner and I both recieved big bill EKG and LABS etc) I also found that DR Hart is only a contracted surgeon he has his own office, and you would not see him after your surgery not even for the fill therefore there will be no relationship with surgeon. I am not trying to discourage you from using true results but there are a few things that I would do differently Like dont allow them do anything that can be done by primary physician, and secondly I would see DR Hart in his office to ensure pt/physician realationship.

The good thing about true results is that when I changed DR's I had MOST of my documention and I knew my insurance requirements so my packet was nearly completed. The DR that is used for billing purpose is Orly Orris so check if he is in your network. Let me know if this helps you. My partner and I started the whole process in May 09, My partner has her approval already I am waiting, Surely we would both have surgery dates if we did not have to change mid steam. GOOD LUCK:smile2:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
