Ahhh! I'm Banded Tomorrow!!

Hi! I'm getting banded tomorrow, Sept 8. Like others I'm scared and second-guessing this decision, but I know it's the right choice. I'm type II diabetic and even with the pre-op diet my levels are now where they should be. I'm hoping with the surgery I will be off all the meds!! Anyway, I just wanted to say hi!!

Debbie,

You will be fine and don't second guess yourself. You know what women's intuition is. Follow your doctor's rules and look to your future with success at the end of the road and your new self will be there waiting for you to give you a big hug.

We will always be here if you need us.

I'll be thinking of you on the 8th. I'm being banded on the 9th, and last night didn't get much sleep.

It's sure helped me reading these posts, and realizing that most of us think about our decision, and second-guessing, and being scared. It seems many after the band wish they had been banded sooner.

Hello and lots of luck and prayers to both of you! I am new here and have a scheduled surgery banding date of 10/14/09. I am extremely nervous. I will try to check in regularly with you. Get some rest!!!

Hugs~

Congratulations and Good Luck! Let us know how you are feeling when you are up to it.

I wish you the best of luck. I am getting banded 9-9-09. Get well soon.
