Good afternoon, Violets..

I'm back from WW and the first weigh in. Guess there must be something to this point thingy cause I lost 4.2# this week. I'm going to keep at it. I'll weigh in Wednesday afternoon before we leave and then really try to be good while we're in Texas. Remember.. it's NOT about the food!!!

It's STILL snowing here!! Nothing much sticking to the ground, thank goodness, but my plants are all shivering. 34 degrees and snow on May 8th. Welcome to my world!

Michelle.... hope you're having a better day today. You know you're going to get lots of Violet hugs in less than a week. Try and hold out until then.

Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend. I'm headed for a nap and then some house cleaning and packing. Thursday will be here before I know it!!

Judy, good for you that's great!!!I was up a little, but still "under" goal...freezing here too and windy...but no white stuff...nothing on tap for the weekend, except curling up in my wooby...small bright spot...I have a job...not a very well paying one and VERY temporary, only 2 1/2 wks, but it's something...working in the HR dept. of the City here..so we'll see...

Played Bunco the other night for the 1st time ever...was interesting...didn't win squat, but that's the story of my life..

I hope everyone has a great Mother's Day..

Oh Laura.. I'm so sorry to hear this. Happy Mother's Day indeed. Your poor mom and dad have been through so much as have you with your sister. When will it ever end?? At least they have you and your family to be really, really proud of and to make them happy. I hope your sister can get the help she obviously needs. Hugs to you and your family...

Hi Girls~

-4.5!!!! Judy...way to go! I am dabbling in WW now, tracking food, and counting. I made eggs (1 reg, + 2 egg whites, w/ 1/4 c. cheese) 6pts, and had 4 large strawberries for breaky. Well, I pb'd 3 times then ate the berries and threw the rest away. Then the rest of the day was all jacked up. Went to the store and stocked up...I will commit to it 100% after TX. I had that unfill, but it hasn't kicked in yet. The Klausy situation has been very upsetting to me and I've been really tight since yesterday.

Laura~ that is so sad. Sad for your entire family, but poor Belynda. Sending prayers for your family. Leslie really needs help and I hope your parents figure something out to help her. These crys for attention will only continue. Keep us posted sweetie!

Tomorrow is grading and packing!!!

Good morning, Violets..

The sun is shining and it's not snowing, so it's going to be a good day.

PamELa.. you never did tell us about Klausy and what happened.

I stayed within my 21 points yesterday and even had a WW dessert.

Off to church and then we're going out to dinner tonight for Mother's Day. We're going to Applebees since they have WW point meals. Their steak with portebella mushrooms is delish.

Everyone have a great day. Be good to yourselves.

You're doing well, too, Pam... getting your head back in the game! Klausy?

In a week Haydee will be a married lady!

Hi Janie! & Heather! & everyone else!

Hey Girls~

Well, my stupid tenant put his girlfriends pit bull in our yard w/ the Rottie...long story short, Klausy ended up in the vet w/ a shitload of stitches in his ear. It wasn't bad at all, only split the ear flap but it is just the STUPIDITY of it all. I've rented the house to 3 guys. Stefan is the one I work with. Seth is the dumbass who did this, while Stefan didn't know about it. Susanne and I both left work on Friday and went to see Klausy at the vet. He looks GREAT and has lost some weight. Stefan takes him for walks and even had him jogging! Just a worrisome situation...and it is f'king w/ my band something fierce!

Today is grading and packing.

Laura, Michelle, Judy...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I went to be thinking about Haydee's last Saturday night as a single lady! By this time next week, she'll be an ol' married lady!!!

Good morning or should I say afternnoon!

Happy Mothers day to all!!

Going to my sisters later on today for a barbeque.

I guess I should start thinking about what I am taking, or wearing. I go get my dress from the alterations lady tomorrow. I hope it is not more than the dress!! She really went to town!!

If anyone wants their hair done or just curled or blowed dried (tell Bob for him I will make an exception and give him a perm if he wants!) for the wedding, I am available. Let me know, I book up fast!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon, Violets..

It's been a nice, relaxing, lazy day today. Sons Joe and Allen called to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. Son Josh sent me a gift certificate from Amazon so I downloaded the new Carol Burnett book to read on the plane trip and Kris is taking me out to dinner at Applebees tonight. Eating has been good today. Poor Bob really has restriction now. He could only eat part of his tuna casserole for lunch and has been stuck ever since. He pb'd most of it and the rest is going down really slowly. Not sure what he'll have at dinner tonight, but I know he'll eat slowly!! He hasn't had restriction for a long time so this is an adjustment for him. I'm glad though, cause he was able to eat wayyyyyy too much before and was always hungry.

I need to Iron my dress for next Saturday and get a couple more tops packed and then I'm done except for the toiletries. I'm going to be going from 30 degree weather to 90 degrees.. My body is going to go into shock!!

Everyone have a good evening!

Haydee..... BREATHE!!!!

so much for that unfill...been stuck more in the last 3 days that before. I think it is stress too. I am a bit worried about the flight, it usually messes w/ my band.

haven't done shit for packing...but the day is early too.

Can't wait, and yet so much going on here I feel very guilty leaving right now.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
