One of my grad students turned in a paper with a 95% plagarism report!!!WTF, do you know how much extra work that is for me. 57% from one source and 33% from another. Jeez...stupid people.

FAIL!!

People really are dumb these days to think they can get away with plagarism. At one point it may have worked, but with the internet.. forget it.

A quick (with no humidity) shower on Saturday will NOT spoil Haydee's day will make it lucky, and maybe a rainbow will appear!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

How can you tell when somebody did plagarism? I mean I am sure sometimes it is obvious, but other times I wonder?

No, my hernia doesn't hurt, I keep on heavy duty girdle like pants to keep it from showing too much.

Sorry for the three different posts.

All papers must go through a Turnitin.com site...which is an international site used by universities. You will get a 10-25% plag. score if students are using the same reference materials. THEN...as if that wasnt bad enough...she turned in an old score on her paper. duh!

Good afternoon, Violets..

Home from the luncheon. I had a bowl of butternut squash Soup and a spinach salad. I made chocolate mousse for dessert and had 2 teaspoons of it. The rest is sitting in the fridge and son Joe will take care of it for me. The plumber can't come today and we leave between noon and 1 tomorrow, but they have Joe's number and he will come over when the plumber comes. Hopefully it won't be anything major, but I can hear the ka-ching, ka-ching as I type.

I'm headed out to get a couple of tee shirts for the Bobster. He has almost everything packed. I picked up his suit this morning. Sure hope we have enough clothes and the right kind for the weather. You know I'm used to highs of 50 and 60!!!!

Janie... $50 to alter the dress???????? My whole dress was only $60!!!! YIKES!!

Will check back later... 2 more days, ladies!!!

The chocolate mousse is GONE! No, I didn't inhale it... I gave it to Joe when he came over to put air in the car's tire.

I got 5 plants planted in the front yard and got my laundry finished. Off to rehearsal and then home to clean my bathroom and finish last minute details. We leave tomorrow between noon and 1 so time in the morning to get some things done too. Crossing my fingers the plumber gets here before we have to leave.

Ok.. disaster time. Bob can't find his GOOD tie. Not like he doesn't have sixteen hundred ties... he just has to have this particular one. He's now going through the house top to bottom to find it. Joy..

Home from rehearsal.. sink is still clogged, but the house is in decent shape and we are 95% packed. Should be on our way on time........ hopefully!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
