Hi everybody,

I have yet to be banded, 4 more dietician meetings left to go though! Planning on having the surgery sometime in December of this year. I'm 20 years old, been overweight my whole life and I'm ready for a change. I came here to get "educated" as my doctor recommended I check out places online. I'm also hoping to get some support seeing as I probably won't be sharing my experience with EVERYBODY in my life, just a select few :confused:

im 18 and i was banded on july 31st. i also was overweight my whole life.. this website is a really great website and had all the information i needed to know. i spent months on here as well as going to meetings and classes. im also not sharing this with anybody in my life besides my family. i dont think my friends need to know about it.

Thanks for accepting my friend's request! I also feel the same, only a select few of my friends know. I know the rest would either not get it or understand my decision. If you need someone to talk to, I'm a great listener!

I too have been overweight my whole life. It'd be nice to share that aspect with people that don't understand what it's like to go through that!
