Good Morning Gang

I SLEPT TILL 8:00 A.M !! You all know that is RARE for me..

Sitting here drinking coffee.. Need to hit the gym this morning I didn't sleep well last night ate pringles & pt bar - was sleepy but couldn't go to sleep - tossed and turned finally at 1 took a xanax - Angel woke me up at 5 but I went back to sleep and they had their potty time :0)

I think it may have been all the stuff I watched on Haiti - OMG so so very sad - Candice they talked about the bldg code issues and corrupt gov - and how the USA contributed to it (how we turn blind eye when we back pple in the gov who agree w/us politically not just dem but everyone) this is what I hate about politics..

I would make a GREAT politician - cuz right is right no matter what title you wear - it's not the title you wear that makes you a bad person it's the corruption that does..

If anyone donates - please make sure you go to legit site - I went directly to the Red Cross..

Well just cking in - Candice my calories yesterday most likely ended up 1600-1700 uhg and I don't want to go to gym - but will..

I have my concert tonite !!! So that means a few adult beverages :0)... Want take bets on my condition tomorrow :0) - but it will be a throw of the dice - don't know if I will be in a party mood or not ;0)

Last night we had our snowmobile meeting. While there we got news that a friend's husband had killed himself yesterday afternoon. Her little boy is one of Nick's best friends. She is the dearest woman. I'm heartbroke for her. I called and offered to take her little boy but things were dealt with at that point. She is lucky to have a really good network of friends, but I'm heartbroken for her. I didn't sleep last night because I couldn't turn my head off.

I remember when I wasn't on my depression meds. I remember the feeling that suicide was the way out. Everyone last night was saying, "How could anything be that bad?" and "You would think we would have seen something." and "Why didn't he just come talk to me." I just wanted to scream that they didn't get it, but no one knows about my battle with depression and unless they go through it, they can't understand. But it took me back to a very ugly place. So hurting. I'm not there anymore but I do remember the feeling.

So...sorry about bringing anyone down, but wanted to explain my heartache.

So very sorry for your loss and the heartache - Yes suicide is a thought that has crossed most of our minds at one time or another - When some commits it - the pple left behind have so much guilt - why didn't I see the signs.. I know I have lived w/suicide (my Mom) - it's tough on everyone.

It's hard to understand - but it happens everyday - Hugs & Prayers !!!!

Oh Stephanie; I am so sorry for your sad news.. You are right about 'people' not getting it... THe poor man could just not take the PAIN anymore... his family needs our prayers.

Janet: Today was a lazy day, did quilting all day and am now prepariing to leave for DD's house in T.O. she is taking me to see the KING TUT exibit tomorrow and then we are shopping and doing lunch... I am really looking forward to it.

I am taking my OWN popcorn with me for tonight so that I am not TEMPTED to be bad!!!

Hotel looks good, are you booking your rooms right now already???? Shouldf I book the flight now too... or wait maybe I'll get a better price closer to the time.????

Yes... Seattle airport...SEATAC. I know Alaska Airlines has a direct flight from Palm Springs.

Have researched accommodations online both last night and this morning... hoping to come up with something like your mentors site found... 3 BR condo for a GREAT price. But not coming up with anything affordable. It's a holiday weekend, which doesn't help! May call the hotel and see if we need several rooms if they'd cut the rate.

Cloudy, overcast day, but best not complain because the next week is supposed to be miserable. We're going to Quartzsite AZ with high school friends on Sunday. Big RV show plus rocks & gems & swap meets galore!! We were supposed to go Monday, but weather looks yucky for that day so we changed it to Sunday. Then want to spend the night in a new casino near the Mexican border and go to Algodones the next day... and walk around in the rain probably! :thumbup:

Apples found that place I think - The way she makes it sound like its $100 for 3 nites not sure..

Ya we are overcast too (lol like I live so far away) ya rain the end of next week..

Beautiful sunny day!! Came home and took the puppies for a walk, so 3.2 miles for me. Food, Janet, something is in the air, because I reached a level of bad that I don't even want to talk about. So I slapped myself around a little, reminded myself about my lapband debt, and asked some hard questions. So today is a new start, not waiting until tomorrow, will weigh myself and see the damage. You would think after 9 months those habits would be gone, but hell no. I wallered in it for part of the day, enough that I was concerned about my band, like I said, don't ask. So from 1 hour ago, everything that goes near my mouth will get measured and recorded. It is so easy to 'slip' a little extra in. Yeah, now that little extra is enough food for a 2nd person.

Steph, you know I understand, I have been there in the dark deep hole of depression. NO ONE understands, fortunately I was able to get some meds and find sanity. But we know that it is always lurking. I hope that your friends wife didn't have to find him. We love you ((hug)).

We've had 4th of July when we froze our behinds and others that were nice and warm. I'd say anywhere between 60 and 80!!

I skipped choir practice because we're going to be gone Sunday... and because I wanted to watch Judge Judy and have my wine with Earl.

Well, guess what... he's been obsessed with his airplane and helicopter all afternoon!

I'm glad it's almost dark.

He'll have to come in soon. He flew first one, then the other. Then broke the helicopter, then had to fix it. Then had to recharge his batteries. Then went out again!

Tracy just texted this photo of Jack Russell puppies they looked at today. Think she's taking the black and white one but not sure if its for her or her MIL. She looked at pugs yesterday for MIL, but then she started telling me that HER new puppy needed a playmate!

I have 1 cashmere sweater just found it - it was hanging under a jacket lol...

Morning, set my alarm for 9:30, so I just got up. Have lots of projects planned to help control my food. I have to leave at 12:30 because of a showing and won't be able to come home until 3:00. No money to go shopping, so I think I will drive around and dream about houses. Should go to school and grade papers, bleck. Who knows. Actually, what I think I will do, (just thought of it), do a drive by houses, then I'm parking the car and am going to do my 3 miles.

On the July condo, I'm in, but I won't be able to pay my share until closer to July. So if someone will cover my share until my house is sold and I have a few paychecks from the nursery, I'll be there.
