"More To Love" on Fox Network

Did anyone watch this show on TV last night? I am curious about peoples thoughts on the show.

Its a show that has the same basic premise as the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows where there is a Man or Woman, in this case a man that gets to choose who will be his wife. The women are in competition for this man's affection, and each week a certain amount of women get voted off untill he finds the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

The twist on this More to Love show is that the people on the show are larger than those that are on the other shows. Now I find the premise of this type of "reality" show to be stupid in the first place. But lets face it, stupidity and entertaining sometimes go hand in hand.

The thing that I thought was very interesting, that they don't do on the normal Bachelor/Bachelorette shows is that when they show each person on the screen, they put up their name, residence, job, age, HEIGHT and WEIGHT. I thought that was interesting that we need to know what each persons Height and Weight were.....

Love to hear some thoughts on this.

I had a hard time watching the show last night. The self-pity crap is sooooo annoying. I think these girls are full of crap. They are all saying that they want someone to accept them "the way they are", but clearly these girls are not happy with their bodies "the way they are" or they wouldn't be crying every time they talk about their weight. I don't know if I can keep watching....

GG - I feel the same! I watched it last night for the first time. We were channel flipping and I saw it so stopped it to watch. Not even recorded so I couldn't FF.

I got so sick of how they'd be 20-something crying and whining "no one ever has loved me" and "I just want to be loved". I never had issues and I've been fat since I was 10. They don't need a man's love, they need Jillian Michaels, or a therapist.

Where do they dig these nut cases up?

LOL...I was thinking the same thing. They need "The Biggest Loser", not this Luke dude. He doesn't even seem all that great to me. Yeah, he seems nice, but a great catch...I don't know.

What they need are lap bands!! HA HA!!

I did like that he understood about them feeling uncomfortable.

Yeah, he does seem really nice and compassionate...but I have to wonder how "real" these people are. I personally would never trust anyone on a reality dating show.

Exactly! Non-reality is more like it. :sneaky:

But, still...their trainwrecks are fun and make my life seem sooo much better! When I'm not yelling at the tv. lol

LOL...my curiosity will keep me watching, but I'm sure I'll continue to complain about it :sneaky:

I totally have a problem with this show. lets throw a bunch of fat whining crying no one loves me women in BATHING SUITS on tv and see if any of their cinderella dreams come true.

some of these women are attractive , hard to believe they've never gone on a single date before .i think its all fake.

I thought it was low-budget!

Got a better one than this. Anyone watch Dance your A$$ off?

Give me a friggin break!

Just another kick in the A$$ for overweight people. They try to act like they are doing a "compassionate" thing briging obesity up front, but this is not the case.

These shows are rediculous

I watched it once, and that was one time too many! I just couldn't stomach it. Why would you put yourself through that humilation? And the outfits they were wearing? Oh my...
