  1. So glad everything went well. 20 lbs is great! it's very important to follow your Dr's orders after surg and eat only what youre supposed to to avoid any complications . i'm almost 4 wks out and am starting my soft foods and enjoying every minute after being on liquids/mushies for so long. good luck.
  2. they are ugly looking lol i'm waiting patiently for mine to loosen up..its been 4 weeks and i think they like where they are.
  3. At first i felt uncomfortable about social settings but now i actually think it makes me look the best i've ever looked. before at a party i flocked to the Desserts and guarded the table for dear life and now people notice my eating habits have remarkably changed for the better and i have inspired people to look into the band (those that know) those that don't just assume i've been bit by the diet bug or i'm in love or something like that...its none of their business pretty much . much luck to you. you are doing great!! i was banded by dr hoffman also on july 27 09 .
  4. July 27th 2009
  5. i was told no swimming /bath till ater 5 weeks post op. i am severely missing my bath time!
  6. this girl seems like an obsessed stalker type. i cant believe he kept her after she confessed how "in love" she was with him! he's just as nuts as the rest of them
  7. great news Erin!! i want to go swimming too...i feel ya there...
  8. those outfits were definitely a sight for sore eyes! i would never.
  9. i love the cream of potato also when i'm super hungry. its filling and altho pre banding i mixed it with milk, i used water this time around so it wasnt so thick. i can only eat about 1/4 cup then i feel so full. cream of broccoli i like also..i just puree it really well. cream of celery i've never tried. doesnt sound so appealing to me but maybe it isn't so bad.
  10. exactly LOL where's my sexual peak??? it skipped me
  11. so glad to hear youre feeling better! i take the flinstones chewables my dr suggested those actually. I just bought some of the WW progresso soups and strained them and gave the veggies/chunks to my dog and i drank the broth. Cream of chicken is good strained and its rather soothing and makes u feel full.
  12. I totally have a problem with this show. lets throw a bunch of fat whining crying no one loves me women in BATHING SUITS on tv and see if any of their cinderella dreams come true. some of these women are attractive , hard to believe they've never gone on a single date before .i think its all fake.
  13. i just slept on my stomach for the first time since surg and it was wonderful. i'm 12 days out , and it still wasn't as comfortable as before , but at least its not as sore now.
  14. haha i've said something similar to this as well and their facial expressions are priceless
