Have finally joined the banded

I got banded yesterday (Thursday). Pain is not so bad. Just a general aching. Has anyone else had diarrhea? Its horrible. I know they say liquid in/ liquid out but geez. Have had it since I started the clear liquids the day before surgery.

Congrats on the banding!!

I was banded June 12 and had the diarrhea the entire time I was on liquids before and after surgery. I felt if I wanted to drink something, I could not leave the house because I knew where I would need to be. It will get better, I promise. Now that I am on mushies, it is much better and nice to have normal BMs again.

First of all CONGRATS!!!

I get banded on July 8th, super-exciting knowing about all the gas and watery poop I will be having! LOL

I get banded on Tuesday and this is the first I've ever heard about this! It makes me wonder what else don't I know. Oh...this is my first post here.

Congrats on the banding!! I was banded on June 16th and I have diarrhea too!! Just another fun "advantage" of being on liquids!!

i was banded in february and had the same problem. mine quickly went away after i transitioned to the mushies. hopefully yours goes away as fast. and good luck and congratulations on being banded!

Then I am gonna have some massive weight loss pre-op since I am on clear liquids and protein shakes only for 2 weeks before and after surgery... Who knew, diarrhea for a month, 100 lbs gone, lol!:)
