First taste of "real" food!

OMG, I never thought cottage cheese would taste like heaven! LOL Today is my first day off of liquids and I'm eating cottage cheese! Funny thing is, despite how many times I chew it, it feels like it's getting stuck in my throat -- not my band. I'm dying to take a sip of water!!!!

Um next week I start mushies. I will do turkey chili in magic bullet like device, thanks.

I have been on pureed food for four days now and feel really great. I did puree some sloppy joe and it did not go down well. I had a tightness in my chest that felt like really bad heartburn. My doctor had me buy papaya enzyme(before the surgery) from the vitamin store just for this reason. It helps to break down red meat, and it worked like a charm. I will forever carry a few papaya pills in my purse.

the magic bullet is awesome. I can't wait to really use it when I get to the real food stages, but it does wonders grinding everything down for me.

A favorite for me is refried beans, a little shredded mexican cheese blend and a little FF sour cream, tons of protein and tons of yumminess!!

Yes...the magic bullet is a life saver. I puree my food in seconds and you can store the food in the container your puree it in....a must have for us banditos...

I very much agree! I love my magic bullet! It will be easy to take to work and mix and blend things for lunch! Definitely comes in VERY handy!!!!
