Calling all who had surgery in MEXICO

:tt1: Hi! I am looking for a good surgeon in Mexico. I am interested in the "medical tourism" program. Anyone have their procedure done with Dr. Arturo Rodriguez from Monterrey, Mexico. Thanks

Hey I had my surgery in Juaraz Mex. by Dr. Netera and he was a great doctor and although my after care is almost an hour away from me I happy with my decision. I also did medical tourism. Hope this helps.

Hi. What tourism co. did you go with? Also, what do you mean by after care. Is the after care included in you initial surgery fee and if not, how much do you pay.

Thanks

There is no reason to go through an agency, it just puts you one further step away from the doctor.

This is exactly the time you want to be working with the MD office and NOT an agency. If they are not responsive to you before surgery how will they be after?

An agency just costs more money, it does absolutely nothing beneficial for you.

I had mine in Cancun mexico and was well pleased with everything. It only cost $500 more to gp to Cancun. I chose there because my family was afraid of all thats going on in Mexico. My surg. was 12-12-2008.
