Anyone else in the San Fernando Valley with cross addiction to food and alcohol/drugs

Hello...I have 8 years clean and sober and I am being banded in Mexico on April 16, 2009...I feel like I am checking back into rehab now that I have a surgery date...I am looking to see if there is anyone local to me who would be interested in correspondence/support. It seems like staying clean is easy-just stay away from it, BUT WE ALL HAVE TO EAT!! UGH...I am taking it second by second.HOLDING ON!!!

Hi i am not cross addicted but i do know TONS of people in OA LAIG who have cross addictions. A lot of them go to meetings together. Maybe you can check out a meeting?

I definitely have problems with cross addictions. Food is my new ape I carry around. The bastard is heavy and I can't wait to shake him loose. I live in Portland Oregon and I know your entry is a year or so old. Are you still out there. Angela
